Don’t buy it even second hand !
The company basically died and has been bought by Manfrotto. For those who acquired their products it was a nightmare to use: unreliable wireless connection, the app was constantly crashing, after years waiting for updates they finally gave up and move on other projects. Some of us invested thousands of money in their devices that was unusable. I personally bought 1 Genie mini 1st gen and 3 Genine mini 2nd gen for a total of more than 800$. I have never been able to fully use it !
Now they are trying to take down the app, so if you still have their products you will basically have nothing to control it.

Inutilisable sur smartphone l’échelle tactile de réglage des rotations est inutilisable.
C’est à croire que les ingénieurs ne savent pas pour qui et quoi il travaille.
J’ai jamais pu le servir de mes 3000 euros de matériel Syrp s’en m’arracher les cheveux et perdre de l’argent en temps de production.

Terrible App
I’m cinematographer and a developer and I can’t tell the hardware is pretty good but there’s nothing worst than this app.
I had already written a review to tell the problems I had and offer some feedback to help solve them.
But mu message have apparently been deleted has I can’t see it there anymore.
What a terrible way to solve problem...
Anyway I’m pretty angry because I have a new bug and this one is blocking as I can’t use my Syrp Pan&Tilt anymore.
Basically the upgrade process keep falling. I’ve read the troubleshooting about possible interferences. But I’ve disconnected ALL devices around me that I have access to. Now there are only 3 wifi devices from my neighbors. But it keep failing. Obviously I can’t shutdown the entire planet... and honestly I never heard excuses...
Just make your hardware software connection stronger or offer a wire option to upgrade.
At this time I don’t feel I have a reliable professional product in my hand but more a toy. Pretty disappointed until you will give me a correct customer service. For the price I’ve paid your products, it’s the minimum!!!
Effective and easy
Easy to use, you have the possibility to control each unit independently, each can perform a separate timelapse. Start and end points allow for easy setup. The waypoints are difficult to understand at first but after a while it becomes clear and a fast way to put keyframes. Bugs were pretty rare for me since 40 timelapses and even if the app bugged, my timelapses continues without issues. Good job syrp, can’t wait for the bulb ramping feature!
