TagCam - Photo Organizer

Update 11/29/24: I just found out they DID charge me for a lifetime subscription and then a week later AGAIN for an annual subscription. The chat help function still says “We are not online. We will email you back.” I found the in-app link and emailed the Contact Us address a detailed description of the issue with screenshots. It was returned undeliverable. 😖I might have to dispute the charge. The app is still unusable because the thumbnails used to quickly tag are linked to the wrong photos. They released an update 5 days ago. It did not help. Original review published 11/9/24: I’ve been looking for an app like this for years. It has a ton of features. I bought a lifetime license and I just saw my annual subscription (from the trial) is set to keep charging me in 2025! It’s unusable now because it’s got a serious bug where a lot of photos don’t appear in the thumbnails. It looks like I have only two photos from 2022. If you scroll through open photos they’re all there. It makes tagging impossible. The chat feature always says “we’re offline” and I got no response when I asked for help.

I should have recognized the all 5 star over the top reviews as a red flag. A lot of dancing around the fact that it will not process / tag items in your phones photo roll. Likely an Apple restriction… who knows. It only lets you import them from files. Their tutorial shows you going to their website on a desktop like whaaaa? No.

TagCam has all of the most important features, amazing! the AI search is absolutely powerful, I mean can literally say what I want and it understands and get me the photos I am looking for, absolutely recọmmended for photography lovers! I have 10k+ photos in my library and this app has literally made my life easy

Better than most photo organizers out there....i love how i can stack similar photos without actually deleting them, this my most favorite feature! i have not seen this feature in any other photo app - thumbs up 👍🏻

TagCam is an absolute game changer! This is the kind of app I’ve been wanting for years. I always complain how hard it is to navigate my camera roll and find exactly what I’m looking for. It’s like TagCam heard me complain and said “Here, let me just solve all your problems.” I was able to seamlessly connect to my camera roll and instantly play around with the apps features. One of my favorites was being able to add whatever kind of tag I wanted to any picture. Using those tags, I could search through my photos in a fraction of the time it used to take me. You can also use the search feature to search by location, date, picture type, tags and more. All this allows for lightning fast access to that random picture from 2016 you’ve been looking for forever. Arguable the coolest thing ever (imo) is using their “Find Duplicates” feature to… well, find duplicates. This condenses your camera roll so that all those duplicates TagCam found are gone. Just another reason I’ll be using this app from now on. All in all, do your self a favor and download this right now. You’re going to save yourself hours of time and effort finding those long lost photos. Genuinely, this is the best photo management app I’ve seen in a WHILE, and i didn’t even mention the smart albums. Check it out!

This app allows you to organize photos in a sophisticated and intuitive way. I believe this app should come standard with everyone's phone as it creates a superior way to categorize and decern different photos. There is enough flexibility with this app to organize your photo collection to your specific needs. I would say this app is a must have for anyone who takes photo and memory collection seriously. I would recommend this app and think it should come standard with all phones.

I just downloaded the app there very more features then just on Apple photos. I love the app already . Sets all dates in order, has all my photos together! I’m loving it already by just downloading the app ! I would recommend anyone that loves have there photos in order!

Absolutely love this photo organizing app! It's incredibly intuitive and user-friendly. I've been able to effortlessly sort through all of photos, which I’ve never been able to do before. Helps w creating albums and organizing memories with ease.

Tag Cam is a lifesaver, I take pictures constantly, whether on my phone or on my camera. Sorting through them (especially after a vacation or a memorable outing) can be super frustrating. Tag Cam takes care of the abysmal gallery and makes it into a super easy to use tool for organizing, searching, and/or sharing pictures. Nothing bothers me more than scrolling forever to find one pic, separating work and family flicks is way easier than going through one by one. The app has so many useful features like being able to sort through duplicate pics, for people who can never take just one(my lady). As a photographer, I looked forward to using this app to assist with my portfolio organization, and definitely recommend this app as a multipurpose tool to anyone who uses their camera a lot.
