Take Good Care

Patient Caregiver Community

Description

The Take Good Care app is the place where patients and caregivers build community.
Our goal is to help you develop a succinct and informed voice in your healthcare while also providing community support and inspiration.
Lisa Bradshaw created both the Take Good Care community app and the Empathetic Healthcare Practices Course for patients and caregivers who are navigating critical or chronic illness and for people who've not yet experienced a health crisis, knowing it's something we can rarely predict and most of us will face medical intervention at some point in our lives.
Lisa is a 26-year cancer survivor who became a widow at the age of 32. She has learned firsthand as a patient, caregiver, and long-time patient educator that when we build a skill set for navigating a health crisis, we are more capable of making informed decisions and perhaps even improving outcomes.
Experience the following features within the app:
• Join community groups and engage with other patients and caregivers.
• Listen to the Take Good Care Podcast for full-length guest interviews hosted by Lisa Bradshaw and other episodes focusing on subjects related to topics shared and discussed within the app’s community groups.
• Start a journal through our weekly journal prompts.
• Enroll in the Empathetic Healthcare Practices Course for expert lessons and more (in-app purchase).
• Participants in the course receive the Notebook + Calendar Companion FREE with the course (mailed within 48 hours of course purchase).
• It includes notes from the course; a 12-month calendar; glossary of terms; and pages designated for doctor appointments, including vital signs, lab and imaging results, prepared questions, emergency contacts and more.
• Empathetic Healthcare Practices Course students who are also Take Good Care app subscribers receive access to the Course Q+A group, a deeper dive into the course content with LIVE discussions and other features.
Thank you for considering the Take Good Care app. Please reach out with any questions or comments. We want to hear from you, and we’re glad you’re here.
