Take - Scooter Sharing

Dont ever download this app its scam it takes your money but you dont can ride with scoots.

I needed a scooter in Paphos, Cyprus to get home from Lidl so I signed up to the app. They make you pay €10 to start then I unlocked a scooter. The scooter wouldn’t work so I tried to call customer service. There was no answer so I checked the scooter back in having gone nowhere. I’m now locked out of the app supposedly “for fraudulent activity “. The only fraud is for the company taking €10 when they are clearly it able to support any service!

If this isn’t a scam it’s the most incompetent app I’ve ever ‘tried’ to use. It even blocked me for trying to register

You get an error every time you put your phone number in and then it locks you out after 2 attempts…. What a waste of time… it’s no wonder the scooters are all parked in the same places and you never see anyone riding them

When you finally figure out the app it’s not bad at all

Registered and accessed the app, put €20 top up on it for me and my son to use a scooter. All we got was “scooter cannot be accessed in a restricted area”. Really, why are the parked their then?? Went back in an all we get is the screen to input phone number to register and can’t get to my account or money. The email support address is not a proper email either. Complete joke and scam. Don’t use.

I got this app for when I was out in Cyprus to get around better as I have a bad back, I got the app put money into my wallet but then made it extremely difficult to scan the barcode to gain access to the scooter. Once I had finally got into the system it overcharged me for my rides. It says €0.25 per minute but somehow a 2 minute ride was €3. Makes loads of sense. But not even that when we arrived back at the hotel, ended my ride, parked it up available for the next person and I go to go on the app the next day and it just takes me onto a screen for me to put my phone number in. So I do so, accept the term and conditions and nothing happens. I can’t accent the page where I can look on the map to find a new scooter and apparently I’ve been removed due to “fraudulent activity.” I can’t even open my wallet to get my money back into my account. So not only have I lost roughly €8 but I can’t use the app due to some absolute nonsense. Overall the app is extremely laggy, unreliable, fraudulent and near enough a scam. I wouldn’t recommend this app to any of my friends. If anything I’d like to speak to an actual human for me to get my money back and to get given a reason for my “fraudulent activity”. Absolute joke of an app!
