Description

Take command as Captain of The Majestic to explore exotic locales, meet new species, and reveal the ultimate truth behind just why the star outside that window is NOT Proxima Centauri.
Choose a side in local conflicts—or don’t. Your ship, your crew, your call in this episodic narrative-based puzzle game that updates the classic point and click adventure style.
With a washed-up racer, a Luddite mechanic, a sociopathic doctor, THE influencer of the century—his hair! *swoon—and a university professor waaaay too excited about the do's and don’ts of first contact, what could possibly go wrong?
That would, of course, depend on your definition of wrong…

Navigation Problems

I played the intro with the few mini games and that was fun. Now I am on the ship and looking for engineering, i.e. at the beginning. Navigation is difficult. I hear a door open but I run into the wall. The wall itself is clear so depth perception is difficult. I went to sick bay and then visited all the rooms on the floor and that’s it. Lifts do nothing and there’s nothing else for me to do. So I quit the game and restarted and now the lifts work. Already frustrated. If it gets better, I’ll change this review.

Really cool game!

Loving this game so far. Great combination of brain teasers/puzzles/mini games with a cool story.

Looks neat, but a few nasty bugs need to be fixed.

There’s two main bugs that really ruin gameplay: 1. There are places where the dialogue hotspot is on the same location as the movement joystick, leading to getting stuck in a conversation loop because trying to move the controller activates the dialogue. 2. In the facet data package collection mini game, both the green and red nodes will go off the screen if they go onto a long track on the outermost ring, this makes the game far more frustrating than it otherwise would be. 3. Not as big a deal as the other two, but in the ship sorting mini game, the rotator isn’t consistent with tap, it seems to respond only half the time or it seems like only a two finger tap works, not sure. 4. I’ve had a few instances where the UI just disappears. Interacting with the father and son after getting the water ship out is one spot that it’s reproducible. Also, I feel like I’m stuck, I have no idea where to find the alien that greeted us and the diode mini game is too frustrating with the bug to continue. The last time I tried, I had one diode left, was trying to avoid the long tracks, then bam, the green diode hit one and went offscreen.
