Tandem is an amazing app that I use to talk and text with people every day. I adore it, but there's a downside: to start a new conversation, you have to purchase TandemPro. It's frustrating that we can't have free conversations without paying. The app is quite expensive.
A great way to learn and practice language
Too many restrictions to learn and bombarded with premium ads to just translate words. Whats the point of a language app if the translation function is blocked by a pay-wall

I wished to improve my spanish and on the first day I maybe had 15 new people to write and chat with! Perfect concept and app helping people come together!
I was by a mistake signed up for a year instead of a month and if you are on IOS you can’t get a refund. Waste of money :((

The basic idea of tandem is fantastic and I have already enjoyed the opportunities to exchange languages and create new relationships. Thanks for a great job. That said, I have a few things I wonder about. 1. I pay for this application and have only once contacted support, it is now 9 days ago and I have not heard anything? 2. When you are in the middle of a writing conversation, and want to return to the main page, you have to use the annoying little arrow in the right corner which is impossible to hit with your finger. You have to press unreasonably many times and at the same time you have to go through the entire conversation history all over again, just in reverse, I do not understand any of that? 3. There are identical subscriptions, time is equal but prices are different?

I really like this app and people are so sweet and there are good at helping me learning new languages but I have lost many of my messages😊
