How it works:
TaoMix 2 offers a unique and easy way to create your own relaxing soundscapes that can evolve randomly over time, for a perfect immersion.
1. Add relaxing sounds to your soundscape.
Select from the wide range of high quality sounds or record your own. You can add as many sounds as you want, they will be represented by coloured disks.
2. Modify your mix.
Move the coloured disks and the white cursor around : the closer a sound is to the cursor, the louder it plays.
3. Sit back and relax…
Lose yourself in nature’s marvellous song, and let it guide you at its own pace.

Great app
But I paid for the sound packs and now they are gone now that I have upgraded the app. The developer has moved to the subscription model. This makes sense, but why not grandfather in your early adopters who paid? Why disregard earlier purchases. Kind of a bummer
Beautiful sound canvas creation app
There are numerous sound canvas or ambience generating apps offered for the phone or tablet. This one stands out to me in the way one can paint everything from really simple to quite complex soundscapes. Purchasing the entire sound kit was no big deal and maximizes the sound creation fun, a journey in itself methinks. The interface is beautiful and easy to work with. Highly recommended. Thanks!
Really helpful
This app helps me to fall asleep and I have had sleeping issues since I was 5-6 years old. So thank you very much. I also tried it while meditating and it works very good. There’s no loops to get caught on and it’s just a sound in the background that really helps! 💜

Superb, but crashes.
Sometimes if I close the app then I cannot open it again, it just dumps or something and does not load again. The only way to resolve it is to reinstall the app. I seriously recommend backing up your work before closing the app (like saving to the notes app) because if it refuses to start again then you have to reinstall the app and start all over! Btw, I have iPad Air.

It is really simple to create quite surreal and other experiences, especially if you put in some money for sounds. I use it for relaxing, mind stretching, and meditation—and have other ideas in mind beyond that, but haven't had the time yet to implement them. Looking forward to it, though.
