I recently purchased an iPad Pro and this app won't restore my purchase so all I have now is the "lite" version (alligator only). Every time I try to connect to the App Store or restore purchase from within the app I get an error message. Please fix this!
I really like this app for my young students with CVI, but I wish that it said the name of the item that the child was looking to touch. For example, when the cow is moving around a voice could say, "Find the cow." Or when the cow is tapped it could just say, "cow" and then the animal sound. I think that this could be a great app with a few changes.
I Loved the app previously. It had easy settings and once I set them they stayed. This update does not have clear images as it once had. Once the image is tapped it stays" frozen" on the screen much too long before a new image appears. Also I can't seem to change some of the settings as easily as it appears. I actually purchased this (the last version), and now I have an app that used to be great that is ineffective.
It would be better if you could just touch to activate instead of lifting your hand off the object to sctivate, my son will touch the object and wait for the resoonse but by the time he lifts his hand the object has moved. Disapointed
This app is fantastic, as a TVI, I use this with several of my students for scanning, visual attention, and visual motor goals. I have a suggestions - could you integrate more complex backgrounds, starting from simple and getting more complex? I have a goal that this would be a great introduction to, as look and find books are a bit too complex.
Thank you for creating this simple and effective app. My daughter has CVI. She is functionally blind, yet sees. Her vision continues to improve as she is visually engaged with appropriate motivators. This app is appropriately motivating and visually engaging. The ability to change the size of the animal and speed of travel allows for growth within the app. Would be great if you could evolve and allow iPad playlist access as well for the reinforcer.
This is my go to app for kids with low vision, cortical visual impairment or kids needing to learn cause and effect. In this app you learn to visually sight and then target an animal against a choice(s) of background colors. There are many features that make this app customizable for each individual child, i.e. specific animal and background color, their size and speed, and reinforcement sounds. A really unique feature is the magnetic finger, which allows the user to tap the screen and the animal comes to the user's finger. That feature alone in teaching cause and effect - the concept of "I do, I get" at it's most beginning level is tremendous. Customer service for this app is also awesome. The developer really cares about making this app successful.
Great app to get kids' attention until the update. When settings selected the app shuts down now so pretty useless until fixed.
This was a cool app but it quit working after I downloaded the update. Help!
