Tap That Tempo FAQ
Is Tap That Tempo free?
Yes, Tap That Tempo is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Tap That Tempo legit?
🤔 The Tap That Tempo app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I am a professional musician. I use tap tempo apps to analyze tempo as I listen to different material. This app must not be giving accurate readings, especially if tempo changes during the song.
I noticed also that even when I play with it, I can’t get the app to “notice” particular tempos. It will jump from 125-127 without going to 126 no matter how hard you try (or something like this.)
The app is pretty useless if it is not accurate, even for the amateur. I won’t be using it.
Exactly as advertised
Quick & accurate manual tempo finder.
Just what I needed - without the complications!
Simple is so nice sometimes. Easy and fast to identify tempos. I also use it to time my heart rate during training.
Tap that Tempo
Tap That Tempo is outstanding! It is much more helpful than any metronome-related app which I have ever seen. It has also piqued my interest in tempi.
Well-done & thank you!
Simple and it works
Opens fast and reads your tap quickly.
Perfect!
I use it all the time. Does exactly what it says ... you can’t ask for more!

Just what I needed
Simple and it’s exactly what I need. I tap on beat to get the bpm. Don’t need anything more from it.
You had one job
Lame app. Doesn’t work. I downloaded it for a music job and it screwed me and made me look stupid. I AM stupid for downloading this dumb app.
Ok
This app is mediocre. It’s always one or two bpm off of the true bpm, which is pretty amazing because the calculation of bpm is pretty simple. It seems like it depends on if the app has been freshly opened or not. If I’ve had the app open for a while, it’s starts giving wonky results.
Worth Every Star!
I have Korg er and em-1, DAWS, and this is the bpm tapper I have. It’s the most accurate and the most ascceible
