Ok but overpriced and unfinished

I get your point but well if you want to just design a « fair » game I would say : just put a one shot purchase where you unlock the complete experience. Here I just feel like it’s again about time and frustration. It’s easy to say that players are complaining about some aspects of the IAP but this is just because you don’t want to get our out of the « economy of time and frustration » paradigm that is leading the mobile gaming industry today. Frankly that idle could be killer game. Nice approach with the art, with the rogue lite / idle style. I bought the package to remove ads against 10% upgrade which is clearly overpriced. Everything is actually overpriced, want a second companion it costs 12€. Seriously ? When I pay in a free to play game, I’d like to feel that I get something for my money, some real advantage or unlock something permanent wirh a significant impact. Something that makes me feel like « I bought the game » or like I’m supporting a dev who is providing a nearly complete experience. But here, we need to pay a lot for a not so significant advantage meaning I would need to pay even more that what I was willing to initially to feel something significant. Unfortunately it’s reaching the limit of what I’m willing to pay for an incomplete idle gaming experience. Especially as I have reached in a not so long time the available content « end of era 5 ». Knowing that previous eras and this one already didn’t have any boss / event. So yeah I quickly reached the state of « I don’t know why I’m still playing it and why I should put any money in it ». I doubt the financial model applied here allows the dev to improve the game as this not appealing at all for the players. On top of that, there are some ugly mechanics such as the lantern and the reward rate during offline which makes the idle experience even worse. Given the time needed for researchs in the game or the time to gather some resources capped by lantern / offline rate and also the decreasing ratio when a perk level has been reached, it feels like we should keep active with our phone open on the game all day long. While clearly, « active » means tapping 2-3 times the screen from time to time. Unless something is done I think the game is going to die.
