Tapatalk - 200 FAQ
Is Tapatalk - 200 free?
Yes, Tapatalk - 200 is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Tapatalk - 200 legit?
⚠️ The Tapatalk - 200 app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
I've been using Tapatalk for a number of years to access three different forums. It's frustrating to use as it's full of glitches. Some of the threads I follow have hundreds of posts, but the preview always only shows the very first post, not the latest one. If there are photographs in the thread, then often the wrong photograph shows up on Tapatalk - if you go onto Safari the correct photo shows. The most recent messages in threads frequently repeat. The app frequently fails to load and needs to be closed and re-opened Threads that have been read often show up on the "unread" tab multiple times, making it really hard to find the threads I actually haven't read. The adverts are really intrusive and mostly seem to be for violent games or gambling. If there was any alternative app to access the forums I want to follow, I'd not use Tapatalk.
Ruined by ads
Used to be a good app - but now unusable due to full screen, sound-on ads.
Dog slow. Random bugs.
It’s constantly hanging up on loading, stopped being able to open messages for about 6 months and then started working again.
Getting to the point that when they patch it it fixed one thing and killed another. The load speeds are worse than dial up at the moment.
I really like the interface but I am close to going back to browsers.
Ads
I have a paid sub but am still seeing annoying adverts. How come?
Very Very Slow
Used to be great, but now it’s barely useable. It stutters rather then scrolls, as it’s trying to load all of the adverts. Dare to stop scrolling for a second and you’re presented with a pop up window advert. I’ve stopped using it and reverted back to individual web pages for forums I’m wanting to interact with. Such a shame.
Too many adverts
Used to be really good. Now it’s just never ending full screen adverts making it really hard to use.
Absolutely unusable due to constant adverts being forced upon the user
This used to be a good app but recently it’s become pretty much unusable due to the app constantly and frequently opening up random ads in a browser and unsolicited App Store pages whilst you are trying to use it.
Used to be good
Was a useful tool until the recent update added constant pop ups, the app now tries to get to you install apps by popping up the app store screen then crashing. I also paid a fee to remove ads for lifetime but this has been reversed
Disgraceful app
Full of constant pop up ads, always crashing, always freezing, WORST APP EVER!
Clear off, Mr Monopoly
Ads have always been a pain in the free version, but now there are invasive “wait five seconds” pop-ups during which we have to sit through clips of things like Mr Monopoly driving around a board. It’s at the tipping point where you think the irritation of the app outweighs its benefits.
