Targu Jiu CityApp is a tourist application used by both tourists and locals with various interests that are offered detailed information on most attractive POIs and events in the area, as well as on existing local services.
The app uses the location to determine the distance to the POI around and while this app runs only.
The content is updated real-time and is continuously subject to improving in order to provide accurate and relevant info.
The current version of the Targu Jiu CityApp contains a variety of themes: points of interest in the city, interesting activities that can be done during a trip in the area, guided tours option, Brancusi artistic works, info points and souvenir shops, info about local transport, events calendar etc.

All POIs contain relevant information (photos, text, address, telephone and cell phone number with the possibility to call using the call function of the device, email address with the possibility to send a message using the email function of the device, website, opening hours, location of the POIs shown on Google maps, routing options)
Alphabetical and by distance sorting options are implemented. Also, various filtering options are available, according to the type of POIs.
Language switch is available (Romanian, English) directly from the application.
RO.Târgu Jiu CityApp este o aplicaţie turistică destinată atât turiştilor, cât si localnicilor cărora le sunt oferite informaţii referitoare la cele mai atractive puncte de interes şi evenimente din zonă
Serviciile de localizare sunt utilizate pentru a determina locatia punctelor de interes din jur si este utilizata doar in timpul functionarii ei.
Versiunea actuală de Târgu Jiu CityApp contine multiple teme ce variaza de la ansamblul monumental Brancusi, puncte de interes din oras si activitati posibile in timpul calatoriei la Targu Jiu, puncte si zone de interes din judet si cum puteti ajunge acolo, tururi ghidate gratuite, calendar evenimente si multe optiuni care sa ofere vizitatorului un tur interesant in zona.
Toate punctele de interes conţin detalii precum: imagini, text, adresă, telefon/telefon mobil cu posibilitatea de apelare directă, adresa de email cu posibilitatea de a trimite mesaj folosind funcţia email a telefonului, website, orar, locaţie pe Google maps şi optiuni de navigaţie.
Toate elementele pot fi sortate alfabetic sau după distanţă. De asemenea, se pot folosi opţiuni de filtrare, în funcţie de tipul de punct de interes.
Aplicaţia se poate folosi în 2 limbi (Română, Engleză) care pot fi schimbate din menu-ul aplicaţiei.
