I have attention deficit and struggle with deciding what to do when. I just put my days to do list in every morning and start shuffling. I’m getting much more done every day. The weighted algorithm works great.
I am finding TaskBox a fun and useful way to help me get extra tasks done. I entered 200 small things I’d like to do in my spare time: things like alphabetize the music cds on a shelf or clear off a small table in the back room. Now when I have a few minutes I let TaskBox scramble and choose me a task. Even though I’m only doing a few a day, it’s already making a nice difference in both the house and my attitude to neaten the house. Great app!
Effective, that is, as long as you can force yourself to tackle the next job that pops up, and not keep pausing and restarting to get a different job. One suggestion: to be able to add a job without having to pause and change the job you're working on. Sometimes I think of a new task while working on the current one.
I have been searching for a to-do list app that randomizes "what to do next", since moving from Android (Randoo) to iOS maybe six years ago - I finally found it!! This is the perfect to-do app for people who are overwhelmed by too many tasks to chose from, or who fall into the trap of organizing their tasks instead of just doing them.
