This is a great little measurer, but it needs updated. The Pythagorean theorem is definitely needed. I like the level to be able to calculate lengths, but it either needs to have a compass built in as well so you can measure horizontal distances (like a gutter), or it needs to be able to do a2 + b2 and find c of a triangle.
