TD Snap® is a flexible, robust communication software for people with speech and language disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy and aphasia. Created by Tobii Dynavox, a leader in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), TD Snap provides a choice of evidence-based, professionally developed page sets designed to meet different communication needs and preferences, with both symbol-supported and text-based options. TD Snap includes easy-to-use editing tools to create a personalised experience, and is accessible via touch, eye gaze and switch access methods. A monthly subscription is required to enable speech following a 1-month trial period.

• Aphasia: A page set to help adults with aphasia communicate while also supporting language recovery
• PODD*: A page set based on the Pragmatic Organisation Dynamic Display vocabulary strategy, developed by AAC expert Gayle Porter
• Gateway*: A page set based on the Gateway vocabulary strategy, developed by Joan Bruno

Subsequent monthly payments will be charged to your Apple ID payment method 24 hours before the end of each period. Your subscriptions are managed in account settings on the App Store.

Hello I downloaded this app onto my iPad and it’s great it helps me with my communication as I can’t speak I have Cerebral Palsy
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP
It was a great app initially but about a week ago it crashes and now just kicks us out without even opening, a week before I have surgery and need the app for communication. Judging by the other comments the app hasn’t been updated for years, I have no back up of all the custom parts I have ready for surgery, my food, none of it and so paid over £50 for software that’s now useless.
Excellent app!
Well researched, vocabulary placed appropriately, logical. Really like the search feature with the flashlight/breadcrumb trail to show you where the vocab sits. Good use of bringing some features of compass across so it isn’t a totally different system to learn. We have a few pupils using Snap +Core First and we are really happy with it. Another advantage of using this system is the companion app, Pathways, which is free. Good value for money if you combine the 2 apps under the same cost!
wont update unless ur ipad os is 10 or above
bad new tobii dyanavox said on there facebook community page that they nolonger support any ipads that use ios 9. so i can nolonger use this software which i was getting use to. as far as i can tell i cant back up my communication pages to my cloud account. good new they say we really going love an ipad that has ios 10 or above. id love to have the money for the ipad that is uptodate to run ios or above , but i dont.
