Since getting a variable temp kettle, I have been looking for a tea app that has brewing guide (temp and timer) and/ info. I've tried several apps but most are limited to company's tea selection. I wanted more of a general app that's got all the basic tea and blends as well as exotic blends etc. I think this app would be better if they categorise and subcategorise it. There's not even a simple green tea or green jasmine tea. The database isn't very big. Although it allows you to add your own tea but it's not really a guide.

Great app for tea drinkers
The encyclopaedia section is brilliantly presented and informative (although not entirely comprehensive- no mention of common spiced blends like masala chai, and no lavender in the list of herbal infusions)
The brew alarm and blender's notepad will start me experimenting with blends at home.
Nice app, limited use
Looks really nice, easy to navigate, but at the end of the day, apart from making a database of your own teas, it doesn't really do that much. Why on earth would you want to keep a record of the number of cups of tea you've had - or indeed find out how many "brews" you have left in the tea caddy? A nicely presented app, but of minimal use.

This app is perfect for helping me decide which of my stash to have and to know whats in the cupboard! Just what I needed! Only way to improve would be a search option but that's just me being picky! Thanks!! ^_^
Fantastic app
Fantastic app which is well made and easy to use. However an improvement I would like to see is that when you change the quantity of cups or ml you are making it automatically adjusts the amount of tea needed etc as a suggestion.

I'd tried all the tea timers currently available but hadn't found anything to be that much better than the timer in Clock. Tea does exactly what you'd want from a tea timer and then that little bit more. Overall it's a surprisingly neat little package or perhaps more aptly SFTGFOP(1)!
Functional and Beautiful
This is the best functional tea cataloguing app I've found. The UI is a joy to behold. This should finally remove the confusion about what to do with which tea!
