It’s what I was looking for 😌

Honestly It’s wild that I am saying this but I’ve been looking for a game like this for a VERY LONG TIME!

The game teaches you something

Initially the game is all chill and progress is quick and strategy gets you there quickly. Then a week later you’re almost an Octillionaire, and then you realize that you’ve been sitting around too long and mindlessly staring into nothingness . Strategy will not get you anywhere now. The income/cost scaling is x10 per level. The next item will take a week, then a month, then a year. The oil rigs will not bring you happiness. It’s time to move on to something more meaningful. That said, it’s a simple and fun game.

My thoughts

I think it’s a pretty good game, it’s just the fact that they also made production chain tycoon, which is more of a idle game that does some of the same things but with better progression and playability (you don’t need to click the structures to keep them producing). It does have cool concepts that if implemented into production chain would make a really good game, like skill trees and bridges (It would better if you could build them tho). I think this game is pretty good, but I’m not sure if it’s because of my under developed brain but I would rather play production chain tycoon

Great game…haven’t had to spend $

This is the first game since getting an iPhone that I have stuck to playing for more than a couple days. I enjoy that it’s pretty easy to play and I haven’t had to spend and real money to advance. A couple things I’m stuck on are how to move something after it’s built? Also, not a ton of explanation or instruction, I’m not able to find instructions or explanations but mostly you tap on something and you can easily figure it out. I like that I’m rewarded for watching ad’s and that is completely up to me. One of my favorite things to do is collecting all the treasures the boat leaves behind! I love the lighthouse! I’m just waiting to see if houses and people show up eventually. I mean what else are the roads for? Anyways, also not sure on the pixel illustrations, it kind of makes me feel like I’m taking my first computer class back in middle school. Maybe it changes once I’m at a higher level. But a couple of suggestions are maybe as I mentioned, some sort of instructions/clarity on how the missions get completed and more clarity on item costs etc. I don’t know the difference on the $ generation or if it costs that much. Also would like to see night mode for when the time of day changes. Maybe some mini games for bonuses? Like a matching 3 game or something similar to that. And people, fun characters could be added, for instance major of the islands or CEO’s to run headquarters etc. Thank you Developers for making a free game that isn’t completely lame!

A continuous puzzle!

I have had this game for a week now, and I will say it has become my go to. Exploring new islands, running out of land space, then finding new ones, great concept. I enjoy searching for treasure and collecting bottles. And I have a feeling that nothing comes easy in this game. Finding the perfect ratio of production to buildings is a bit tough, you run out of space to build quickly. The only advice I have for the developers is that when you upgrade the buildings, the production should increase along with the profit. Other than that, it’s been a wonderful little time eater. Thank you!

Ok

It was a really fun game for about five minutes after that it slowly got ripetitive and boring.

Great game - Too many ads

GURUSUM on

United States

The game is addicting but you end up spending more time watching ads than playing the actual game.. there’s no way to pay for the ads to go away either.. Sure you can play without ads but then you’d take days and days to complete anything at all.

Pay to win… eventually

Al1223 on

Interesting game a bit like a very very kiddie pool board game. Pretty linear progress without too much thinking. But still pretty fun. In the end though you really are forced to pay. AND watch innumerable ads. To be fair the way the ads are delivered is palatable but make no mistake you will be watching hundreds to thousands if you want to win. In particular starting at Iron island you reach a point where progress through passive or even active ad watching income is nowhere near sufficient. It takes weeks for even one upgrade. I didn’t even mind watching the ads. But it becam3 The Who,e game. Lot of potential here. And an improved model for watching ads. But in the end the game is just like any other P2W. I loved this game. That alone gets it 4 stars. Tweak the game balance in the later stages please!
