Simply will not recognize QR CODE TO SEND PHOTOS ON MY PHONE TO VERSION 2024.1.1 released 3/11/24. Please respond.
This app does not work. It has such great potential, but it is completely not working for the past almost decade now. I give my money to Tech Smith almost every year for something or other and I really wish they would fix this
The app would be useful, except that every time I use it, it requires me to scan a QR code to connect my device to the mac. When using this app, I’m never in the same room as the mac, so using the app is problematic, at best.
nov 24 2022- I use snagit on windows, which is the companion program to this app, snagit is absolutely incredible, constantly updated, and very well designed and powerful. Thus I was really surprised to see this iOS app from the same company seems to be so neglected and basic. I only use this app (fuse) for one function, and that is to quickly get photos from my iPhone into snagit program on my PC. in that regard, it's poorly implemented. For example, to get a photo from my phone into snagit on my PC, there's only one path; I have to open Fuse, import the photo from my iOS photo library, ONE AT A TIME, , and then send it to snagit - in all, it's about 7x taps/actions to send a photo. (ie about 5x too many) This could be streamlined and easy- fuse should use the native send/share functionality built into iOS, just like so many other apps; so that I can just send directly to Fuse app. OR , you should be able to see all of your ios photo library in the Fuse app and then be able to select multiple photos to directly send at once. with just a little more work on this app, it could be five star and excellent just like techsmiths other non-iOS apps. will update this this improves.
I was so glad to find this app. I take a lot of screenshots to create educational materials and previously I’d need to send the photos to myself or connect my phone to my PC to download them, and then add them to SnagIt for editing. Just too many steps. There is just one thing keeping it from being 5 stars for me — when I want to add photos to the Library from my phone’s camera roll, it will only allow me to add one at a time (and then I have to scroll through then again to find the next one). Previous versions of the app would allow multiple items to be selected and added to the Library. This slows me down quite a bit and doesn’t make the app a slick as it once was. If fixed, it would be 5 stars from me!
I appreciate the app and it’s functionality, but have 2 requests which would improve the experience…. 1. Make it possible to upload videos from your phone all at the same time, instead of having to upload one by one. 2. Have the videos upload into Camtasia in order. When uploading the videos they upload out of order so you have to go through and verify each one before moving to the editing area on the Timeline
I’ve been using Camtasia for years, and the integration with Fuse, except one thing. I can’t seem to find the option to select multiple items to import into the Fuse Library, to then export to Camtasia, or Snagit. I have checked multiple settings within Fuse, but could find nothing. It’s a feature that I KNOW I’m missing! :)
Not sure about some of these low reviews, I use this with snagit and works exactly as advertised. Love it!
Won’t connect. Completely useless.
