This app steals your Device ID to use to ban your phone from signing up again (i didn't get ban but i got some information about it) why is Apple letting Apps like this have Device ID's? I personally don't like my device information public especially with this low class app that probably has terrible security for your data

I’m on Mastodon, and I follow someone who is also here. Based on the App Store description given, notice the numerous drops of the word ‘friend’ not ‘stranger’ or randomized questions, is this representative of how the app actually works. I say that because I’m on an instance for a particular group, and we both got asked the same question for a group we aren’t apart of. So the anon link we give people appears to not be always them when we get a question. Actually, if that’s happening on any level, all of the questions we are getting may not be from any one using the personalized link that is suppose to send it to our profile. If the response rate is 3%, 10% or whatever, it would be in their interest to have us get the same question to bump up engagement, and if I am getting answers and I only get one, where do the answers that come after for the same question going? Maybe it should be clearer on how it’s used and how questions are allocated and duplicated.
It’s a fun app to be fair, I put the link in my bio every now and again, it’s good, however they try to inflate your questions by throwing bot questions at you. Not just one, like four a day. If you do answer one, it’ll make the bot like the comment so they pretend it’s not a bot. It’s gotten to the point I just don’t use the app and am now deleting it altogether.
Look the idea of the app isn’t bad, but the subscription cost is way to high for what you’re paying for and it’s freaking a weekly fee (for what you get that rate should be for a monthly subscription, hints to help reveal who sent the tells well here’s the stupid thing they’re so vague that there’s ɴᴏ way to tell who sent it ᴅᴏɴ’ᴛ TAKE THE SUBSCRIPTION IT’s WORTHLESS
i’m a video editor and love the aspect of anonymous messaging for questions/requests. there’s too many bots to know what a genuine question is so i wish this was something we could get rid of.
Seriously. This app will ruin your self esteem and crush your soul. It’s a bullies and predators paradise. DO NOT GET IT.
the app is fine, but it keeps sending me generic questions in my inbox, it even started before i shared my account with anyone. i know they’re not from real people. i didn’t get the app to get questions from bots. stop sending them to me.
