A unique, tournament-style, heavy-weighted game clock that uses your own iPhone as its high definition, full color display. This app is intended only for owners of the Tempest Game Clock: a deluxe traditional form factor chess clock (using a patented precision rocker to control play during the game, not the touch screen). It pairs with this app to deliver clear analog and digital game timing with or without increments, delays, sudden death or OT time controls. Perfect for Chess, Backgammon, Go, Scrabble, Othello/Reversi, Checkers/Draughts, and other board games.
Tempest features a strict TOURNAMENT MODE - which disables all phone / text functionality during rated games per FIDE and USCF guidelines.

Only missing one thing for chess
Time imbalances would be the only thing I would like to see. That way if I am playing a newer player, they can have (for example) 10 minutes of time and I could have 3 minutes. This is such an easy way of balancing out games. Hope to see it added!!
Great App
I love this clock. Most clocks are complicated to use and this is super easy to set up and visually very appealing. I use it mostly for backgammon.
Really good!
I own a tempest chess clock and the design is really sleek! Unfortunately, it doesn’t do bronstein timing but other than that, it’s really good! Well worth $55 on Amazon!
