The app has a glitch which identifies identifies your probe as the opposite color, i.e., black for the white one and vice versa. Makes it tricky when you’re measuring meat temperatures.

The spike doesn’t stay connected through my Weber kettle. I’m very disappointed in this product overall.

Disconnects at least 30 times

How do you set the target temp below 125 beef rare?1

Having trouble holding a charge with most smokes being a minimum of 8 hours disappointed it’s almost dead at 6 hour mark

Overall the app is graphically laid out well and works fine. In the app, I’ve found the “Time Remaining” feature to be less than useless, as it is wildly, wildly inaccurate from start to finish. Also, the product is hampered by a very short Bluetooth range from booster to cellphone. I get about 30 ft on my iPhone 12 before the app alerts me that I’m out of range.

I’d give it 4-5 stars if there was a widget!

My MEATER thermometer went bad so I wanted to try this out. I’m really missing having the ability to see my temperature readings on my Lock Screen. Add that feature and I’ll increase my rating.

Everything seems to work very well except the probe colors are backwards on the app. If you pull the white probe, the app shows temperature readings for the black probe and vice versa. Maybe the next app update will resolve this. Otherwise, this thing works very well.

I bought a two pack of the temp spikes and only one of the TempSpike will work. no matter which spot I have the black probe in it will not charge so it will not connect to Bluetooth. I bought a two pack of these probes and I should’ve just bought one name brand probe.
