How Tend works:
1. Choose how you want to see a doctor
• See the next available GP
• Book an online appointment when it suits you
• Book to see a doctor in person at a Tend clinic
2. For booked appointments, choose the Tend doctor, date and time that’s right for you. If you’re seeing the next available GP, you’ll be shown your estimated waiting time.
3. You’ll get a video call in the Tend app for online appointments or visit one of our Auckland medical centres for your in person appointment.
4. Prescriptions are sent to your preferred pharmacy to pick up and you can easily order repeats of your long term meds in the app.
5. Access your care team, appointment notes and test results any time through the Tend app
Who can use Tend?
• Auckland residents can use all of Tend’s services as a casual or enrolled patient.
• Everywhere else in NZ can only see the next available GP online as a casual patient.

Empathetic, lovely and very caring staff who always go the extra mile.
I have been with Tend for 4 years now and I hold them in incredibly high regard. Having a servere illness and being a ‘high needs’ patient, the staff at Tend have a genuine kindness and warmth that puts me at ease, while working tirelessly, professionally and with great care to ensure that I get the best treatment possible. Although there are many traits that make Tend my ‘forever doctor’ for sake of writing a review, rather than a short story, I will say that there is a deep genuine care that can be detected instantly. They are not simply ‘doing their jobs’ they are doing it with deep authentic care for other human beings. That, for me, helps me feel truly cared for, and not just ‘treated.’ Additionally, the online appointments are fantastic. Thank you Tend! ❤️

I would like to change to a password but cannot seem to find the option. Face ID doesn’t ALWAYS work on my phone

The Tend app makes managing my health so easy, I just ordered my repeat medication in seconds!
Worst facility ever dealt with
This app is just a group of money hungry doctors who want you to see a doctor for the most minor repeats even though you saw them two weeks ago. Poor communication skills. There urgent phone assistance don’t help and just tell you to wait in the online Que.

Why do I get an online appointment when I ask for a skin check?
Excellent staff & easy app
Love the Tend staff. The clinicians are very informative, kind and thoughtful. Online booking system is also a breeze!
