Description

Tensity is a guitar string tension calculator. It computes the tension for each string and the total tension for all strings. It supports electric, acoustic, and bass guitars. String tension impacts playability, tone, and tuning stability. With this app, you can model how different tunings and string choices will affect your tension. You can also design custom string sets, which is especially useful if you play in an unusual tuning or have an instrument with an unusual scale length. Standard prepackaged sets often don't work well for these cases. The app is free and ad-free.
