Tera Pro brings together all major sound synthesis methods on one table. No matter if you want to recreate sounds from analogue legends or explore modern digital sounds with FM, Waveshaping or Wavetable synthesis. More can be added by In-App Purchases of new modules. Add some flavour of physical modelling and modules for additive synthesis. Combine them altogether for new sound experiences far beyond your wildest dreams.
Tame this overwhelming amount of possibilities with Tera Pros intelligent user interface showing you only exactly what you need, paired with realtime oscilloscopes and level indicators helping you seeing what’s going on. Connect the modules with a flexible routing method without the visual cluttering of real wire cables needed in conventional modular synthesisers
FAQ What does Tera Pro have that Tera Synth doesn't have ?

- Vocal Morphing filter
- KARPLUS (aka WaveGuide ) with new "Swarm" mode ( 3 detuned delays )
2) Revised engine
- Analog Polysynth Voice Modelling with characteristic subtle voice variations of timbre, pitch and temporal behaviour to get you "The" Analog Sound.
- 128 vs 32 voices polyphony
- Seamless Sound Switching: change presets during play without cutting off the sound.
- 8 times unison for really heavy ambients
- Envelope generators with Buchla style "end of cycle" trigger for generative music
- Stack/Split Sounds
- New effect section
3) Redesigned User Interface
- Collapsible modules for clear view of modular structure

Tera Pro FAQ
Is Tera Pro free?
No, Tera Pro is not free (it costs 5.99), and it also contains in-app purchases.
Is Tera Pro legit?
🤔 The Tera Pro app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Thanks for the vote
How much does Tera Pro cost?
Tera Pro costs 5.99 to download (and they also have additional in-app purchases).
I have only 2 synth on my iPad Pro : Tera Pro (that include a lot of synthesis engine) and Moog Model D.
No other synths are necessary because Tera Pro (especially with latest updates) became the first synth in the App Store!
A monster that include all you want to create virtually any sounds!
With latest update it’s possible to import DX7 sys-ex file inside FM7 module !
And now we can edit ALL single operator parameters !
No other words required !
I can’t imagine a musician without this synth on his iPad !
Thank you Harry !
Thank you Virsyn!
Good but the FM...
I got the FM expansion, probably the best sounding FM for ipad, superior to other iOS emulations, including Yamaha's. I suggest adding envelope and frequency controls for each individual operator, otherwise you can't go into the details of FM programming. As it is now the result is heavily incomplete, despite the sound being excellent. It's like having presets, but you can't program them deeply. And it's a pity.
Bel suono e belli i preset
Top app
Powerful, intuitive and with tons of patches. Top.
No way to reset MIDI Learn controls
Tera Pro stores the MIDI Learn settings you make with your current MIDI controller and never gives you a way to clear them. Wherever they’re stored, you can’t find them on account that this app installs to a hidden file structure on your iPad.
Because of this, the app does not appear in the Apple Files app, nor does it appear in the iPad’s Settings where all your other apps are listed in alphabetical order. You can do a Search on Tera Pro in the Settings and it finds nothing. Why hide the app, guys?
To the guy with the Key Hold issue. Assign it to an on/off style button on your MIDI controller and set it with TP’s MIDI learn. You’ll always have it. If you ever switch to another MIDI controller, just uninstall TP to clear the old MIDI controller setting, re-install TP, and lastly, use MIDI Learn one time in TP to assign Key Hold to a button on your new MIDI controller. It’s a solution. A ridiculous one, at that, but it’s a solution.
I see a hardware synth in my future. I’m getting very tired of software synth glitches. TP is not the only one, for sure. Some are resource hogs, some have bugs, some have design flaws, etc. But all these software issues waste a lot of time. How much is your time worth? Time is all we have; you can’t get it back or buy more.
This guy is just a brute force of creative genius!
Respect!
UNDO button PLEASE
The amount of time I have spent time crafting a unique sound only to accidentally hit one of the many random buttons and lose everything happens at least once per session. Outside of that I feel the simplicity of working in a semi-modular fashion can lead to some very interesting sound designing but please add an undo button even if it’s just one step backwards. If the synth wasn’t so amazing I would have removed two stars for all the hours I have lost due to lack of the undo… haha…
RingZ Module out of tune
I bought this synth purely for the RingZ module, and found that all of the patches in the module are out of tune. The sounds are great, but I can’t use them for anything without a huge amount of work.
Good! But...
We still need a quick-access key-hold button. Burying it in a menu hidden in the Common module makes it pretty much non-existent in any active playing mode.
I am a big fan of the original Tera. Tera Pro is even better in many respects but it has additional versatility and functionality that make it a little more cumbersome to use. Sound quality is great and it is very flexible I have only one serious gripe. The "keyhold" feature (acts like a sustain pedal on a switch) is buried in a menu. This makes it almost useless. Look at ANY synthesizer -hardware or software- and you will find the "hold" button is immediately accessible. Please move the key hold feature to the main screen. It is an important live-performace feature. Why anyone would bury that in the settings menu remains a mystery. Very awkward. For my purposes (live performance) this reduces Tera Pro to only 3 stars, mostly becasue it is just such a dumb mistake and it really does make it harder to use what should be a mindlessly simple but important feature. Fortunately this SHOULD be a very easy fix for the developer.
The best
This right here is the deepest, most awesome sounding synth on IOS. It does take a wee bit of time to learn , but once you do you realize just how intuitive the control scheme is. I HIGHLY recommend the IAPs as well, especially Brainz.
I bought this on a recommendation from the YouTube tutorial genius Gavinski, and I’m glad I did. This is up there with BLEASS Omega and the Iceworks synths as far as the most fun to design sound in.
Highly recommended!
