Terminal Madness Reviews

Fun but hit a wall…

I was really getting in the groove. I got to disk 3 and then, about halfway through, hit some weirdo glitch. I’m stuck in a grey screen with nowhere to go. Even the Apple Arcade notification is wonky. It’s sad because the game was fun. A bit heavy on lateral thinking, but very reminiscent of the old Sierra and Lucas Arts games. EDIT: Talked to the dev and they’re going to look into the glitch. If you run into a grey screen in disk 3 and the time labyrinth, the dev knows about it. I restarted the game, but come to find out I could have just closed the app and reopened it and everything would be fine.

Can’t Proceed

At the vegetable patch I can’t even hold it down to get the action menu to pop up so therefore I can’t interact with the garden and make the beans grow. Can I get this fixed or my money back?!? I’m playing on an iPhone 15.

Glitches

Can’t proceed in disk 2. Can’t get into concert. I’ve got the temp tattoo, but can’t proceed further. Talked endlessly to people and things , how do you move forward? No new places to go without going to concert. But can’t get there…HELP is there another areas to explore besides the garage, tattoo or paint lady? Can’t get into intercom spot or castle, hints mention an arcade? Can’t find this. There is no area beyond castle I can get to, can’t get to hideout without making it rain. I’m confused on what to try next. Game has been fun playing up til now. I’ve tried emailing you,but no answers from that.

Long gameplay, worth buying!

Much better hint system and way better dialogue than the first game. Recommended for anyone that likes funny point and click games

I love the game but I’m stuck at the part where I meet future tdd and idk what to do at all from here

Reminiscent of Lucas Arts games

If you like games by Lucas Arts but without voice acting, this game is reminiscent of that genre of point and click. The game has a nice hint system and whenever I got stuck, I would email the developer and get a response within 5 hours. Only critique is a few spelling errors and the English is a little off sometimes, but otherwise it’s vastly improved from the first game. Looking forward to Disc 4!

Love it so far!

Loving this game! It is a lot of fun and the puzzles are difficult enough that you stay engaged but not too hard as to get tedious. I am very stuck on one part and I cannot get a hint. I need to open a guitar case using the notes from some song lyrics and don’t know anything about playing the guitar! This part is very difficult and it doesn’t seem like there is a hint in the book.

This is a Game Done Right

So much fun to play, and a really nice point and click/touch interface. The puzzles were the right level of difficulty, and if you get stuck, the “drip” hint system is what all hint systems should be. Can’t wait for the next “Disk” in the series — keep ‘em coming!

Fun and challenging, worth the investment

This is a really well illustrated old-school style adventure game. It’s easy to play for short periods or longer sessions, well-suited for a mobile device. It’s got some challenge to it but the hint system is a nice bonus. The story is engaging even without voice acting. Some of the verbal interactions are repetitive. I did notice in a few areas particularly close to the edge of the screen and in the garage in Disk 2, long pressing to show interaction controls automatically selects a control because it’s positioned too close to your finger press. Overall it’s a great adventure game worth playing. Thanks!

I absolutely LOVE these series of games!!!

I love the terminal madness collection. Just finished Disk 1-3 & can’t wait for Disk 4 to be released. These type of games & this game (Terminal Madness series) in particular, is my favorite point & click adventure puzzle game on iOS! 🙌💘😊
