I was advised to use this by a Tesco Mobile shop staff member. I have twin daughters and bought pay as you go SIM cards for their phone. Was told I can monitor their use and top up the cards from it. Firstly, it does not have the facility to manage 2 phone numbers at the same time. You have to log out of one number and login with the other number to view data use etc. Secondly, It does not store the numbers so every time you go in to the app you have to request a code to get an email with a new code to put in. So switching from one phone number to the other is painfully slow and annoying. Thirdly, more often than not it has technical problems so won’t send the code you need to get into the app. I’ve given up and deleted the app.

Awful app and disgusting customer service

The amount of times I have to phone up customer services because I’ve topped up fine, it takes your money but giving you what you pay for is another thing. Then go to do a rocket pack, says that’s fine and that there could be a delay of upto 24 hours and it will be added and yet it doesn’t get added. Said this to customer service and although I had proof of the bundle saying it’s accepted, the woman was still really rude to me. Then had to cheek to say that she’s going to educate me on how to top up. 😮 excuse me! I’ve proved it’s clearly your side and not me. I do not need educating, but your customer service staff clearly do on how to speak to someone!!!

They’ve taken my money and despite stating help available 7am - 11pm they’re always busy, they refuse to investigate telephone enquiry, didn’t follow by email as requested and failed to reply to emails sent. Until today I was very happy to recommend the service over last 5 years but today for the 3rd time in 5 years they have mugged me. I’m can’t blame them for my choices so I’m recommending take your money elsewhere.

I can’t get the app open I don’t know why

Good app with one flaw

Its a very good service but every time i send a message it freezes my phone with a massive pop up for about 10 seconds a time

Top up function does not work

It used to be easy to top up with the app but now my registered card no longer works and even after re-registering it still doesn’t work and you have to phone Tesco instead. Hopeless for anything other than info.

Can’t log in

I have used it to good effect but if you log out you can never log back in due to technical hitch Why!!! I have Two PAYG sims and can only use one. If you log out you cannot log back in And deleting the app and downloading again does work till you log out. My iPhone is running the latest ios15 update

Ping-me-a-pound function required

The Ping-me-a-pound service via 282 is too laborious for a child, with multiple menu options and levels to navigate to receive the £1 credit. It is often needed in an emergency so it is a serious oversight not to have this function within the app.
