Why does it say “Cannot recognize text on this website” if I can’t put any text in the app why would I get this app completely useless.
Really can’t fault this app!!
Very glitchy - I was charged and never upgraded to the premium version. Does not support most documents.
Okay, so still early days but so far so good, even without the subscription. There’s plenty of (albeit robotic) voices and speed settings. Personally don’t mind robotic voices, as long as the diction is okay, so that’d fine by me. And there’s easy to find options to include/exclude URLs and brackets too! It’s super easy to import things as well, and the UI is very easy to use. Just wish my readings didn’t use Harvard citing as well as putting important info in brackets so I could have it skip the mid-text citations, but ah well lmao

Thank you for this helpful tool. Many people lack confidence in reading. And there are those who are a little slow and sometimes often put things aside. But with this app people can have texts read to them and therefore not miss out on so much. Thank you again!
Positives: The text to speech is flawless. You can’t tell the difference between a human and the AI. Truly impressive. Natural reader, dream reader, and others don’t even compare. I will never use another app for this. I love the way it organizes the library Negatives: However, it randomly pauses sometimes. Understandable. It’s using the internet to interpret the text. But they need to dedicate more resources to this. It’s a problem sometimes. A bigger problem than other apps. It reads footnotes. I wish there was an option to cut out footnotes, page numbers, superscripts for citations, etc. The margin crop feature doesn’t seem to work Wish list for future updates: I would love it if they had the ability to download the entire book audio so I can listen on the train on my way to work. This is a feature most apps don’t have so this isn’t the fault of ReadBit I would love a chrome browser extension I wanted to put down some minor criticisms but I will never use another app for this. Even with those criticisms, this app is by far the best. I hope to see the company grow so they can add new features. I would even pay more for the features if they set up tiered subscription or something. Keep it up
The reading it’s horrible constantly skips paragraphs, lines or entire sentences and gets lost when there is a picture. Not good
I’m dyslexic and decided to down load this to listen to as I read along with my text books. After taking multiple pictures it is still missing completely lines and skipping around. Useless to me getting my information. Deleting app now.
