I am user of the Text to Speech app for ipad. I really like using the app, but there seems to be a problem with the Pitch function.
I use the app to make audio recordings of talk-scripts, e.g.:
Open Request.
1 U: can you recommend a nearby Mexican restaurant?
2 A: Mario’s is located at Beach and Main.
3 U: thanks
4 A: You’re welcome!
Changing the pitch works when the text is run in the Text to Speech app. But when I use the app to record the audio fragment, all recordings use the standard pitch of the voice.
Please fix this problem, and I would be a happy user.
Really good
I make meme edits and this app is perfect for the voice over!
Straightforward, but with adds
Adds will not be removed, even after payment and several attempts to restore my in-app buys. Other than that, nice straightforward app for those who would like to input text and transfer it to speech. Obvious limitations are things like exclamation marks, that could be improved when pronounced.
Thank you
My voice is completely gone from youth camp and this was super helpful to me. I do wish it dragged words on a little bit like noooo but overall it was super useful
Life saving application, unethical ads
I have a family member who was diagnosed with bulbar onset ALS and this app has allowed us to communicate with them during the time we have left together, which I will always be forever grateful for What isn’t ok, however, are the cruel placement of ads near the key points of interaction on this application. Given this family members deteriorating motor control, they are humiliated when they attempt to speak to their loved ones and a banner ad is clicked linking to an obnoxious advertisement. As a software developer myself I understand wanting to earn revenue via optimal ad placement but this is sickening given those who use this app likely have disabilities of some kind. The answer shouldn’t be a subscription to avoid embarrassment, it’s cruel and unethical
No ads needed to be great
I have not had any ads yet and it’s great! I played the Kars For Kids Commercial to my friend and he said “re he he he he he he” and I played a review and it said “I got a new iPhone 14 liters” otherwise it’s great!
Crashes
I love it but it crashes whenever I try to export, have deleted and redownloaded app multiple times :(
The ads are atrocious
I had surgery and can’t speak right now. I’m using the app to communicate with my family and it’s really frustrating when I “speak” something then have to wait 30 seconds to repeat it if they didn’t hear me because the ads happen like every 3 things I say.
Great App! 👍👍
This App is great because it lets you gather information from credible sources (depending on the person). If the person is a bad actor, perhaps it could be used for bad. However, if the person is in good faith, perhaps it can be used for good!
It all depends an individuals code of ethics. If one is bound by a code of ethics, perhaps they should be careful about what they put on this application.
We are all supposed to be outstanding citizens of the United States of America. Some of us are good, some of us are bad. Regardless of this, an arbitrator and/or mediator should ultimately help council the judges decision with any outstanding allegations.
Material fact is different than conjecture, however, one can use conjecture that leads to material fact. Both combined is the gold standard of legal argumentation 🎭
I hope this helps clarify!
Thank you so much! May your day be as blessed as you are 🤝🙏
Thanks,
