TextGrabber: scan & translate

The app keeps freezing and I can’t scan more than one document at a time.

Makes note taking a breeze. Ease of use is by design and the text translation accuracy is great.

This app is rubbish. It scans the text to words horribly, riddled with grammar and language errors, and doesn’t let you copy it to another app. 0/10 stars. Would not recommend to anyone, if you want a well functioning app.

Useless at translating mandarin. Very disappointing.

It doesn’t disappoint

I purchased the desktop version of ABBYY text recognition and found it very good. It's recognition engine is really excellent, and on the strength of that, I had no hesitation on purchasing TEXT GRABBER for my iPad. But I have to confess that I don't find it as accurate in text recognition as its PC counterpart. I feel this needs to worked on. I would also like Text Grabber to better identify paragraph breaks than it currently does. Having said that, it is still a worthwhile program and I have no doubt that the author will improve this product. It recognizes quickly which is a very big PLUS. if you have any doubts, I would still advise you to purchase.

I use this often & am seriously impressed by the door, accuracy & simplicity of use. Great.

It really is the future made present. My only gripe is that it doesn't recognize handwriting which would have made it truly revolutionary.

This is probably one of the few most useful apps for a mobile device.
