Beware of using this app - you will be scammed out of your money. I booked a cab four days ago - the money was immediately taken from my account and then the ride was cancelled. You cannot contact Cab Guru and they take no responsibility for anything that goes wrong…. they tell you to contact the cab company. What cab company? I never got a ride! Then found out today that they not only took one payment but a second payment as well. Now have bank and police looking into this.

Love cab guru all drivers are nice and friendly and they let you know with plenty of notice how far away the driver is etc. Heads and shoulders above ABBA cabs, 100%

It states a 6 minute pick up time (which is a figure they have plucked out of thin air without checking with the cab company). Then the cab get declined by the company. You call said company abs they inform you there is a 3 hour wait. You cannot rely on this app at all.

I’ve recently started using this app which is amazing and searches the cheapest price for your journey before booking. Amazing customer service (James) but the only issue I have is that payment is taken by them immediately. This is a hinderance as a few times payment has been taken then the taxi firm have cancelled my booking so I am then out of pocket until Cab Guru refund the money which can take up to 7 days. Maybe only take payment once the journey has been completed.

Downloaded, tried to book a taxi 3 times, 3 separate companies all cancelled. Brilliant.

it is easy to use, quick to load, shows your cab from the moment the driver accepts the job, notifies you when it arrives and is the best taxi app out there! i rely on taxis to get about and have found this app invaluable for planning and making my journeys! love it. definitely recommend to friends and family!

Nice app, always receive great service, don’t really like the Price Comparison feature, slows the booking process down.

I booked a car with this app yesterday. I booked for 1:45pm and they finally dispatched a driver at 2:05pm after lying to me on the phone at 1:30pm saying the driver was 5 minutes away. If we had not managed to get a cab from another company we would have missed our train. We had special assistance for the train journey as my companion is 83 years old. This all caused a great deal of stress for both of us. Your app does not appear at to be fit for purpose. Also on the app I asked for a price for a journey that I know costs £6. The price quoted is £9:75. Deleting the app!!

It’s easy to use however I have had taxis not show or be extremely late so it isn’t the most reliable.

I like the fact you are given driver and car details, as a female who travels alone this keeps me safe and secure if there are any issues. Drivers are always on time and always polite. Knowing the price beforehand also means you don’t get caught out and ALL cars have cars payment facilities.
