I read both Detroit papers but Detnews 1st.

I usually jump right to the Sports section!! I believe that the Detroit News is easier to read because of the way the sports news is organized. And the coverage is from High School through the Pros. I often will also scan the Freep Sports. They each have a different slant. They both are good reading.

Notifications not sending!

I am not getting the specific notifications from my topics that I toggled to get. Please fix ASAP!

Too many ads

Shoving multiple ads in my face when I click on a article on a page is rediculous.

Great app for Detroit area news that actually works flawlessly.

This App is easy to use and provides a full equivalent to the paper version minus the ink stains on fingers. Articles are well formatted and easy to read in the app view or easily readable in the electronic facsimile version.

Poor App Support: Canceling Subscription

Ads started randomly playing (even with my phone silenced) which I cannot have happen. I tried on-line support, but they did not help. Informed them I would cancel subscription if I couldn’t silence the ADs. I received an AI apology. While I am not Bill Gates, or Steve Jobs; I can navigate into settings to shut things off. My patronage is not appreciated so I guess I’ll just watch local news.

Stop the noisy ads

I love the content, but this and the Freep app (technically the exact same app) just put an ad on the front page of each section that plays noise automatically. I shouldn't have to mute my phone to read a newspaper, of all things.

Useless

Every single article tells me to subscribe or I can't read it. Even an article about a gas leak in my area? Pass. Deleting this app.
