Avoid

This app is, to put it mildly, awful. I don’t mean the content but the user interface. It lacks everything you would expect, like scrolling, and it is terribly slowwww, the snail moving across my garden is moving faster than this app loading an article. Also, this seems to be an abandoned app by the developer as it has only been updated a handful of times in the past decade. Yes, DECADE.

Needs a visual overhaul

This app looks ancient. Like it came out on the first iPhone and stayed there. The side scroll page flipping is awful, scroll please. If I click on a link to a different article I can’t go back to the first one. I appreciate the content but the app needs to keep up with the times.

Superb

I would never have been able to store thirty two volumes in my small home, so I find this app absolutely amazing. It operates perfectly on my iPad, and I find myself constantly opening it up and browsing through all the many articles.

Paid version is good but has room for improvement

Happy with the paid version. Very smooth. Would be even better if it allowed the reader to bookmark for saved and long articles. Another less important point, perhaps introduce dark mode reading. Thanks!

Articles don’t load

I have found the articles on the whole to load and be well written, however I am unable to load ‘Aids(disease)’. Given the subject matter I think this is really unfortunate. I have emailed customer services 2x and no answer. Happy to change review when this issue is fixed.

No UK

Good app with plenty of articles but seems biased against the uk and Ireland as articles on both countries won’t load yet the USA has 208 pages please allow us to read all stuff.

Where is the United Kingdom in this encyclopaedia?

Downloaded this app, and am enjoying teaching my kids how to use it. First bug however, can find everything about the UK countries individually, and the US. However, it wont load the actual UK article!!! What a shameful disappointment...
