On paper this app is extremely good, it even has landscape support, but it has some glaring issues:
1. No visual feedback when pressing buttons. 2. Extremely slow sometimes - with big delay from button presses to the screen switching to what you selected. 3. Some items under “my program” aren’t under “program” for those who paid for specific items prior to the conference 4. The app bugs out and becomes unusable frequently requiring restarting the app. For example sometimes you get stuck on one item in programs and you can’t get out of it. These issues resolve when relaunching the app. 5. You have to scroll down to see the notifications button to see previous notifications. These things should be nearer the top.
6. There is no way to “sign up” for items within the program and no option to find out the number of people that have signed up for an item. The favourites feature could be improved to implement this
Otherwise, other than the occasional frustration, the app has been quite serviceable and I am impressed with the amount of features.
Needs improvement
Pushes for in-app update outside of the App Store
No landscape or multitask option for iPad
It’s supposed to support virtual attendance but seems to ‘open’ the current session according to the agenda, assuming a conference actually runs on time
This seems to be more of a data harvester app
Good ideas, very poorly executed.
I’m at a conference now of over a thousand people and everyone is complaining about the app. It would be great if it worked as intended, but in it’s present form it’s buggy and barely functional.
App is functional
Constantly ask for update even when it’s updates.
When you add favourites there is no view that just shows favourites. This is just basic.
Bugs
Issues with navigating back in iOS 17 and iPhone 15 Pro. Quite laggy. Could be a good app with some attention paid to polish and bug fixes.
Not practical
I agree with comments form a year ago - does not support rotation for iPad use with keyboards - NOT GREAT - please update for usability
Horrrrible
This app is terrible. It’s slow, glitchy and crashes constantly.
Laggy and impractical
As pretty much everyone else has pointed out, the app is only available in portrait mode. Not very functional when using an iPad with attached keyboard. My next thought was to use an Apple Pencil but that was no good either - there’s no way of marking up pages, scrolling, or enlarging content. When enlarging the venue map (the only page you CAN enlarge), the print was blurry and difficult to read. The drop down buttons don’t work properly either. The app is a great idea but needs a lot more work for it to function effectively
Bugs
There is no way to navigate back to the home page from schedule on IOS. Had to reinstall to get there.
Significant usability issues
Apart from the lack of horizontal option on i-devices raised by another review, the 200 character question limit is too short, the question screen difficult to navigate and if you back out of the screen before posting your question, the draft has disappeared. The app needs work and is not the best option available for these events.
