Jason’s review

Overall the site is really good. I’m in California in the USA and I love being able to watch all of the WSL and championship games. There are a few bugs or issues I have. I think the biggest one is when you put the final score in the description of the highlights or full game. In other words, if I come on to see a game or to see highlights I don’t wanna know who won just by looking at the title of the highlights or the game. So, please, put more neutral pictures, another words don’t show one side cheering, and please don’t put the score in the description of the highlights or the full match. I’ve watched almost every game from both leagues for the last 2 1/2 years. Mostly, the ones I skip are the ones I accidentally see the score. I don’t really wanna watch the game if I know what happens. This is probably a budget thing so I’m not sure if there’s anything you can do. But sometimes I’ll go to the highlights, especially for championship games, when there is no commentary. Sometimes it doesn’t bug me because I’ll be doing something else and it’s kind of like being at a game. But, if it’s possible to get commentary for all the league cup FA cup and championship games I think that would be good. Again, I don’t know if that’s feasible right now but I hope it is. And I have often found that when the game ends and i go to the scroll menu on the right side of the screen to pick the next game,, it can be confusing. And if my memory is serving me it’s confusing because chronologically I think you wanna start at the top of the scroll and work your way down. But when you finish your game it will automatically move you up the scroll. That’s not usually that big of a deal except sometimes the commentators were all announce scores from other games and as I said before I don’t wanna watch a game if I’ve already heard the score. Which actually brings me to the last problem I can think of. Most of the commentators that talk about other games or just blurt out the scores. That is really annoying! This happens in a lot of different sports so it’s not just on the site. But there are a couple commentators it was a spoiler alert or give a warning that they’re about to talk about other games. I think the commentators work for this site so if that’s true, if you could just pass the memo to have them give a shout out before they’re gonna give away the scores of other games that would be really nice. And finally, while I have written this long review that may make it seem like I rea

Trying to watch the Chelsea ladies game but it’s only commentary with no video. From Ghana

GARBAGE

TGiBS on

Trying to watch matches where US players are involved and can’t. It only allows audio which is pointless. They want the women’s game to grow but it’s impossible to see anything. F this app.

Why such bad video quality

koneill27 on

It’s a nice way to watch these games from the US but some of the video quality is shocking. Especially if you’re watching a recorded game it’s like in 360 p

Crashes

Update: crashes fixed. Good app but streaming quality is dodgy. Excited to catch the games this weekend. Unfortunately, the app crashes a few seconds after loading on my iPad... Also, being in the US, I have to watch everything delayed, so I hope there’s a way to hide scores.

Love the app

Would love it more if I could get goal updates in real time

The app is getting better!

2nd review. Dec, 2020 Picture in Picture glitchy. I’ve to get in out of the app frequently for live matches. The app has gotten better with each update. Just needs to include live score update on “score” page.

Great app but could be better

[m].and.[y] on

This app is awesome for an American who loves to watch the beautiful game more than just during the summer for the USA women’s league and the various men’s game. There are glitches every now and then that cause headaches but at least I am able to rewatch it later in the day if I get too annoyed. Just have to avoid social media. The only thing that would make this app better would be to obviously fix the glitches but also develop a way to watch directly from the Apple TV. Not sure if roku, fire stick, etc are able to watch it directly. With the clubs having their own apps that stream the games maybe the FA player can develop a way to stream them live on it’s app without have to screen mirror or cast.

Don’t Bother

tkukoc on

Requires a lot of personal info just to watch streaming services. And even if you give this you are then passed to Microsoft servers to login again. But of course you can’t because the info you just gave isn’t confirmed until you press CONFIRM in an email they send. So you do that, guess what? It still does not work. Again no reason to give all those details to anyone just to watch some streamed games. Total nonsense!
