Description

The Federal is an English news platform that can be accessed through the iOS app. The platform covers a wide range of subjects ranging from politics, national, international, business, sports, and entertainment news while laying special emphasis on education and health.

Every day we bring to you one specific topic in a section called ‘The Eighth Column’ with hardcore reportage coupled with data and analysis. The stories in ‘The Eighth Column’ are carefully selected; after intensive research, they are mindfully written to reflect upon the issues which matter.

The Federal presents news in a pleasing manner. Interactive graphics and stories are presented in an easily navigable UI. Complex ideas are broken down and presented in an easy, understandable format.

The Federal is part of New Generation Media Corporation Private Limited, the company that launched Puthiya Thalaimurai in 2011 from Chennai. The Tamil news channel rose to number 1 position within a short time period. The Federal is the company’s first foray into English news space.

Good content but worst app

Please have a look at the New York Times app. Try to create app like that. Content is loading forever, fonts are small, every time that should be increased. Unwanted top bar. Inconsistent scroll up. Unwanted clunky addition login button for comment. Redundant tabs in Home Screen. Please revisit and change. I’m always getting angry on reading article on this stupid app. 5 star for content; minus 5 for app.

Articles not opening through notifications. One of the slowest app in response

Hemnath: Good but the font is very small to read on ios

Everything is ok but fonts are very small. There is no setting to adjust the same.
