Totally enjoy this app! Fun, informative and clever. The dude who teaches the lessons is likable and enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone who needs/wants to improve or learn algebra. Or just get a better understanding all together of algebra and equations. Even just for those who enjoy algebra and want a quiz/refresher.
Good but
I like this and easy to learn on it. I always found this math hard to learn and couldnt understand it. I was making good headway but once i got to exercise #2 half of the page was cut off and i couldnt progress any further. Dissapointed
FINALLY I love algebra!!
If it wasn't for my son in grade 8 struggling with math, I would still be in the dark about algebra. Now we both "play" Hands On Algebra and celebrate! Two thumbs up from this mom ...

HANDS ON EQUATIONS
I LIKE THE IDEA OF THE TOKENS, BUT FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO WORK THROUGH WHEN THE SIDES DID NOT BALANCE EG. 2X = 3 THERE WAS NO EXPLANATION ON HOW TO SOLVE THIS USING THE TOKENS
