The Halls FAQ
Is The Halls free?
Yes, The Halls is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is The Halls legit?
⚠️ The The Halls app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
What a saga getting the tickets sorted after they were bought from another reputable ticket sales site.
You have to setup an account for the halls which is a chore of password resets and hours waiting for reset emails to arrive.
Then if you’re successful you have to confirm your account from your email.
After finally getting onto the Halls app, you’ll click the Your Tickets tab in anticipation of reducing your stress levels.
Alas no, not so simple as that. You’re then take to another login page that makes absolutely no mention that you need to use a sign in for AXS tickets account, who you should have had no reason to visit considering tickets were bought from another sales site.
Three days of trying and absolutely no reply from the box office email address. Finally got it sorted after guessing that I may need an AXS account, I finally gained access.
Halls Box office don’t reply.
Thankfully Ticketmaster replied to say “go to customer service at the venue”
Rubbish
The app just keeps showing the message “user session expired”.
Terrible app for a great venue
Downloaded the app and signed up. No confirmation email ever came. I requested it twice. Nothing in junk folder, I checked. Tried to list a ticket for sale but could not complete. Meaningless message kept coming up: Context id must not be empty. I asked the chatbot what this means. It didn’t know, of course it didn’t. Very frustrating
Needlessly overcomplicated
Another app you don’t need , needlessly overcomplicating the matter of accessing events
A unnecessary evil
I resent being made to use this
Absolute Garbage
Perhaps the worst app ever invented. Pray you never have to change your password. I’ve been trying for 6 hours now. Had to wait 5 hours for a password reset email that when I click on the link thinks I’ve already changed my password and won’t actually let me change of log in. Not even worth the one star option to be honest.
What a disaster!
What a cluster of a process. App didn’t send verification email for 12 hours, had to delete account and re-register. Then I had to create an AXS account, download their app and after a day of messing around I found my tickets.
No customers service or phone number for the Halls either. What are you doing?
Awful
Bought ticket elsewhere and had to use app in order to access ticket. Very convoluted. Not good
Would have liked to give 0 stars
Sadly, zero stars not an option. Your app makes Ticketmaster look like a quality outfit.
So far, rubbish!
Bought tickets on Ticket Master. Then got an email saying they would not be published via TM but instead I MUST use the Halls app. Email also said that I needed to register with the same TM email ID or I wouldn’t get my ticket.
Did all that but this app doesn’t allow me to log in. When I request digit password it shows as sending a reminder but it doesn’t.
Also contacted Halls but no reply.
Now I’m stuck in limbo having paid for tickets that I can’t get with an app that doesn’t work and an organisation that doesn’t respond.
1 star quite generous in the circumstances!
