The Kissing Hand

My grandson loves this book. The ability of the app to assist with word pronunciation is an excellent feature.

My boys and I have been reading this book together for years. Even though they are older now, I still appreciate how it helped me explain school to the boys and how I would always be there for them. It has been extremely helpful during stressful events to have this book and it's idea to fall back on. The app just makes it that much easier to access when we need it. Wonderful Book. ❤️

Love this book for first time school jitters! This book is recommended for both the child and parent.

I saw a review on the App Store page saying they had problems using the Read to Me version - with the cursor doing random motions and highlighting the text. Since I have had nothing like this happen I wanted to mention this. There is the option to see additional app books at story end to view other books, but whatever! Maybe this person downloaded a free promotional version at some point? FYI I do not have any ties with Oceanhouse Media. Just don't like false data being disseminated.

Full of ads for other products. In read it to myself mode, it starts randomly talking, making the cursor move and highlighting type. I want to read the story to my child, and this random stuff is disruptive. Ads on a paid product amount to deception.

The Kissing Hand is one of the most lovely tributes to the relationship between a mother and child. In the book, Chester the raccoon is ready to go off to school but is hesitant...he does not want to leave his mother or his comfy daily routine. His mom gives him a gift - a kiss on the hand, that is registered not only on his hand, but is also tucked away in his heart. He gives his mother a kiss also to bring up and savor when she misses him. It is that kiss where all parents can relate and feel many many years after that make this book so special. Highly recommended.

I purchased this book for my daughter when she was an infant. I could not wait it read to her. When she was able to understand the book, she loved it as much as me. She is now eight and we still will do kissing hands from time to time. I now have two Grandchildren and want to get each of them there own copy. It is just a special book to share between a parent and child.

My kids like to hear this every night before bed time. I myself in joy this story very much. It's a must have!!!!
