Description

From the maniacs who brought you The Most Dangerous Writing App (called "SADISTIC" and "BRUTAL" By WIRED) comes The Least Dangerous To-Do List.
Everybody needs a to-do list. We love that sweet release when you check things off... you know what we don't love? Doing stuff.
Doing stuff sucks.
Enter The Least Dangerous To-Do List: Every day, you get 6 new, decidedly low-effort tasks that as a living, breathing human being you're probably going to do anyway. Why not get the sweet reward of checking them off your to-do list, too?
Amazing features of the LDTDL (pronounce it any way you like!):
* Scientifically engineered for maximum dopamine release.
* Some tasks will actually be good for you.
* So many themes to choose from!
* No time wasted by having to think about what to do and write it down.
* No seriously, you can't even create your own tasks.
* Not for cheap, anyway.

That’s the best todo list I’ve ever had. How could I live without it?

4⭐️? 5🌟?

I struggled between 4 or 5 🌟 because there’s a few things I just can’t condone. Flossing is crucial or I’m in agony because I have one of *those spots*. I can’t do the usual unroll-floss-from-the-spool flossing because I hate putting my fingers/hands/whatever in my mouth so flossers-&-interdental-brushes are my Ladies/Lords & Saviors of my Gums. I respect All-They-Who-Clean-My-Teeth, My-Fellow-Beings-&-Planet to be puzzled when they’re used to pollute & litter. …. …. …. …. … … … …. … …. … …. …. …. …. …. …. …. …. …. …. …. …. …. … … … …. …. …. …. Throw away this, throw away that … … Why … ? How about donate-recycle-giveaway-etc this-and-that? Another time we can repair our this-and-that?

Strangely uplifting

I love crossing things off lists. This is mostly for fun, but it also includes random items which are actually useful ("dust something") or mood enhancing ("don't visit Facebook today"). Once you've gotten through the list (seven? items), you are done for the day unless you choose to continue with more. Weirdly satisfying. 😀

Wholesome Fun, Low Stakes

Almost invariably suggests doing something I've already done today, which really makes me feel like I'm on top of my adult game. Which I'm absolutely not. But that's the point, I reckon. I recommend this app to pretty much anybody. It's frivolous, but in the best possible way.

yes i’m writing this review because the app told me too as a task, but also i genuinely like it a lot. i downloaded this after seeing it on twitter (the driving force behind many of my actions) and it makes me feel a lot better self care and mental health wise, especially as someone with adhd who is failing to complete many other tasks! tldr: this app gives me a sense of accomplishment that isn’t totally unwarranted, and is someone on my phone that actually makes me feel better which is rare

They took the feeling you get upon crushing a young child at chess and turned it into a well designed app.

Great idea, not designed for small screens

This is a fun app, and the satisfaction of crossing of items is as advertised. However, there are many items that get clipped on my iPhone SE screen. Including the “buy” button for premium features! Edit: It’s fixed for smaller screens now. Thanks devs!
