The Letter is an interactive, horror/drama visual novel inspired by classic Asian horror films. Told through an immersive branching narrative, the game puts the players into the shoes of seven characters as they find themselves falling prey to a vicious curse plaguing the Ermengarde Mansion for centuries.
In this game, your choices will shape and drive the story forward: will you mend a relationship on the verge of collapse, or will you let it fall apart? Will you risk saving them, despite the consequences, or leave them to die a gruesome death? The fate of all the characters is in your hands.

I never expected to find this in a game when i downloaded it. The first free chapter alone felt like a full game so when I was prompted to buy the rest of it I didnt bat an eye. It lasted forever & was as entertaining & engaging from the beginning till the end. My only complaint is that there aren’t a bunch more games like this on IOS. I’ve played it more times then I can count & nothing else is comparable. Asides from maybe their game Love Esquire. That one’s up there with top favorites. Please make more games!!!!!!
Too much dialogue
Way, way, way too much dialogue that is not needed. It’s like no one talks that way. I wouldn’t mind a lot of dialogue if it was an actual game. I was just reading and reading and reading, it never ended, where is the game part? Is this a game? I’ve been asked 1 question to every 30 minutes of drivel dialogue. I wanted to know what happened, but I like interactive novels. This was just reading a story with images that slightly move in the background… I probably won’t pick it up again.
Racial Slur
I was pretty much enjoying the game until a certain point where the priest blessing the house scene comes up and all of a sudden one of the character pulls out a unnecessary racial slur that was actually repeated on the audio at that , I just don’t see how that needed to be included, it’s pretty sad to see people just have to add certain things like that into a game.
I love it
Amazing, I really wish you would make more..
This game is great but there is one problem
I love this game so much and wanna play all chapters for free i understand the game is free and you have pay inside the game I never pay money for games so this game is my favorite the only thing is I wanna play this game for free
it’s good quality just shocked me
They game is really high quality there is some mechanics where you have to actually try to play the game and win mini games in order to progress into the game but the only thing bad about this game was when Luke I believe was his name a white guy randomly dropped the n word i was in shock other than that it was my only complaint
play!!
I played this game for the first time about four years ago, and it’s what really sparked my love for visual novels. As far as visual novels go, this one sure is up there. Great voice acting, music, art, ambience, and story telling. This game really is great, especially for those just starting out visual novels. Play!!
RACIST TRASH
I see my original review wasn’t posted. Interesting how I’m not allowed to use the same racial slur that’s used in this ridiculous game, but Apple doesn’t have a problem with providing the developers a platform to use it. Not only is the use of the racial slur disgusting, but so is Zachary’s dialogue throughout. Not ALL black people speak with broken, or poor syntax. Just like not ALL white people speak perfect English. I guess you all have never been around any trailer parks, or Timbuktu. This game is full of foolish stereotypes. It shows the writers and developers, are lazy and incompetent.
A few bugs. Hope the Devs see this
The game is fantastic although there are some bugs. Occasionally the game will show the wrong cutscenes and from time to time, there won’t be any voices playing where there is clearly dialogue. Other than these minor bugs, it’s an amazing game
Developers are unapologetic for racial slur usage
I couldn’t even finish the game after the use of the N word towards a Black character. If you simply do a google search you will find other people who have attempted to call out this appalling language and are met with uncaring, defensive responses from the developer. “We gave people fair warning and you still chose to play our game and you got offended” is basically what they have said. YangYang Mobile is TRASH, do NOT give these people your money.
