It makes things easier to read about my favorite author. I’m excited to see the updates of the courses.
I’m so happy that this app came about! I absolutely love the highlighting feature as well, as it allows me to easily refer back to things that really resonated with me from Mark’s work, for later reference. Mark’s Support Team is phenomenal as well - I approached them about something that I wasn’t sure was working (I also have a crap phone so thought it could be me), but they’re developer fixed the issue and they got back to me within a few short days to let me know. I was super appreciative of this ☺️
Thanks Mark. I have read many of your blog posts and have subscribed to some of your courses, but I have never visited your website on my phone. So please make an iPad version.
This app is slightly better than the website in some respects—such as the controls for listening to audio. It honestly isn’t *much* better than simply using the website—just a little bit better. As far as I can tell, the content is the same as the website, just a different GUI/front-end. The *content*, on the other hand, is top-notch. The articles are super insightful! I found Mark Manson while going through a particularly difficult breakup and loss of a close family member in the same month. Over the following 2 months, I did a great amount of healing, moved mostly past my depression, and made a few positive changes in perspective and self-responsibility. My life has changed since that period. I owe it to a few factors—therapy, Theta Healing, exercise, spending time with friends, intense journaling, and lastly by reading The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck (which is composed primarily of content from these articles). The points he makes in the book and articles still stick with me. I owe quite a bit to this book and these articles. If you are unsure of your emotional footing in your relationships and life, then there’s a good chance Mark Manson’s articles will help you. It’s worth a shot. Thank you Mark!! **Update: One request: Please format this app so it is supported on iPad! (Specifically iPad Pro.) That would be super helpful!
I love the content here. I’m a subscriber also. The audio options are awesome and the hyperlinks embedded about related articles are good I loved the idea of an app, and this one is good. It could use some tweaks though. To make 5 stars I would love a reading list feature. Where I could save the next things I’d like to read and also know if things I have read. This lets me save articles for the future, but if it had a finishe reading like check box that would be great. Also. The app doesn’t stay open or hold the spot I was at while reading. That’s frustrating, trying to remember where I left off. Overall love the content and I do prefer the app over the website.
Can you add a feature which lets us know that we have already read an article or something.Y’all got me readying an article more than once.Also,please. Make more audio commentary. The endless article is killing me😂.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE AN UPDATESO WE CAN VIEW THIS IN LANDSCAPE MODE ON ANY GIVEN DEVICE.
I’ve learned more from work, grown more listening to Mark, read better books recommended by Mark, and overall just felt more in tune with the Monday blues thanks to Mark! I’m so happy it’s finally all in one place on an easily accessible app. Cheers to self growth interesting conversation and laughable moments captured eloquently in a few words.
The app is well-organized and easy to navigate. I like the convenience of being able to access the articles without having to go through the safari app. I would like for there to be a feature that remembers the last article you were reading automatically. I’ve accidentally closed out the app without bookmarking and couldn’t find the article again. Otherwise it’s awesome! I love his articles! Woot!
