Great idea but simply doesn’t work. I admit that signal on the broads can be hit and miss but it never worked.
Rather than the app, use the maps the boat companies use, speak to people around you (everyone is so friendly) and if you get good Wi-Fi or phone signal open google maps and type in what your looking for 👍
Great for ideas beautifully presented
Really useful. If you click on a description it will take you to route outline and further to specific directions. I like the way the menu is organised into categories like pubs, golf, moorings even butchers! Previous reviewer mentioned adverts but once into the interesting bits I didn’t notice ads. Take your time and delve further into this app. It has some rich finds.
Rubbish
Just downloaded this app on the strength of the above reviewer. Big mistake. Apparently there are only 37 pubs on the Norfolk Broads, and 50 restaurants. Click, delete.
Best App
This is without doubt the best App available for boating the broads and I have tried a few, some ridiculously expensive. No other App shows all the points of interest, moorings, eating places, natural heritage, shops and much more. It even provides reviews to help choosing the best spots. I used every bit of it, it is simply fabulous.
Unfortunately it stopped showing some information after a couple of days but I reinstalled it and went back to its glorious self.
Does not open
Can't review this app as it won't load on my ipad!
Really useful
Good app the town maps could cover a little more area but really useful
theNorfolkBroadsApp
Really helpful and easy to use
Useful and Interesting
A really useful tool, works well on my iPad mini. As a regular visitor to the NorfolkBroads, I know about most things, but this app helped to find some great new pubs and a couple great mooring locations.
Well worth the money.
Useful app
Well this is a useful little app although concentrates mostly on advertising, but then it has to be paid for somehow i guess, its still packed full of info lots of places to eat, drink, or stay along with the many boat yards info, lots of tourist maps too, being local to the broads all of my life most of this info I'm already aware of but if your from outside the area or on your holidays probably worth a look
