The Oregon Trail Reviews

Good game minus Glitches

AngrySurveyor on

United States

The game is rather fun to play and the graphics are good. A minor complaint would be is that a lot of the game relies on you growing stuff but it is rather hard to get land to grow. Like most games if you don’t buy things game play is slower and harder. However, the biggest problem is all the glitches they’ve had lately. You lose things you’ve earned or aren’t able to click on things. Currently I can’t even get the game to load. It’s stuck at 60% loading and never goes farther, occasionally you get an error screen but that’s it. I put a lot of time and effort into playing this game but I think I’m going to have to find something else to play. I notice I’m not the only with these issues and apparently it’s be going on for over a year. How does a company know about glitches for over a year and doesn’t fix them? I have contacted their customer support 3 or 4 times with the majority of their responses just being a generic reply and nothing more. The only time I got a different reply was when they told me to try updating the app but there was no new updates so that didn’t help me.

App keeps crashing can’t get a hold of support

Would like to be contacted by support please. Can’t even get into the game tried to multiple times. Wondering if this game will no longer exist due to the low maintenance and issues. Very sad as I was really enjoying the game. Glad I didn’t spend real money on anything

Just keeps crashing now won’t even load past 60%

Too many glitches

Psoucy on

First off this game is NOTHING like Oregon trail… it’s basically a glorified FarmVille. Second the developers got greedy and took away all the good games where players could earn stuff because they want you to spend real money. Third the game is constantly glitching. Today is the third time in a week I’ve been unable to get on the game. Unacceptable

GAME CRASHES

YouSuckSlots on

United States

Game crashes on install. Had it installed once and was playing but didn’t play for a few days and when I went to play it just crashes. Uninstalled and tried reinstalling but just crashes.

Love the game but hate the bugs

FourMuscles on

United States

The game is actually super fun and the ads are well placed but you could play slowly without spending much money. My only complaint is that this game is so buggy it’s often unplayable. For example, the steamboats will arrive when they’re not supposed to or you’ll be missing one completely, or the wagons sent to Oregon will freeze and won’t let you select anything or close out. At this moment, I can’t open the app without some bug happening and forcing me to stop playing for a while.

Buggy

MiaAkira on

Is a good game. Keeps you busy and it’s fun. But… is very buggy. Right now it won’t let me play or fulfill the tasks. Every time I open certain areas of the game it crashes (the museum area) So it needs work definitely.
