Won’t load on watch
Purchased and sync watch but won’t load. Therefore useless.
Doesn’t work
App stopped working almost as soon as I downloaded it. I can’t even uninstall and reinstall to see if that fixes the freeze. Fun idea, horrible execution.
Yep
Making it to Oregon on the app is as difficult as the original trail. YOUR NOT GONNA MAKE IT! Very cool app but it’s gonna crash and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Great but eventually stops working
Hit 61% and up until now one of the best watch apps out there. Now it won’t track my steps and can’t continue to the game. Super bummed.
App stopped working!
The app stopped updating my progress at about 15% in. It shows steps that I’ve taken for the day but does not update my location and it’s been over a week now. Very disappointing.
Total buzzkill
This app is pretty cool - until it isn’t. The first time I made it about 500 miles in - then like other reviews it totally stopped counting steps. Then spring of last year I tried again and as of May 2024 I made it 97% of the 2000 miles to Oregon City - 69 miles remaining. Then again out of the blue it stopped working again. I figured a company like this would be a little more professional and actually respond to feedback and maybe dare I say fix the bugs. Total letdown. This app needs to be removed from the App Store. Again 69 out of 2000 miles left and a year of walking…
Issues
The info section says to check app permissions, but I’ve had them on since I’ve downloaded the app, yet it won’t track my steps. I even turned them off and back on, still didn’t work. It’s been stuck at the same steps for so long. Don’t want to delete and redownload and lose the steps I’ve already done. My other tracking apps work, just not this one.

This is super cute, but it stopped working and I reset it, only to find it stopped working again. It’s cute, and a great idea, but it’s not functional.
