The Photo Investigator

Wanted this to edit exif data and paid the fee but it doesn’t work , just rubbish like all the other apps I’ve tried for this These photos were from my own Canon camera and the exif data doesn’t show correct focal length if you use 2 teleconverters at once but this app can’t fix this so useless for what I wanted it for.

The app does the return the accurate image number for the photo so I am Ali it’ll cautious about trusting the data. If this worked properly I would rate it a 4*

Bought this to edit the metadata, but it doesn't let you edit it. Complete waste of money and should be reported as scam software.

Does the job, viewing of metadata. UI can be improved a bit. Doesn't quite like the ad overlaying on the photo, but this is a free app after all.

Great Stuff

So apple can natively edit meta data. This app does not really hold all that much value. Now if it could see the edited or removed meta data from an image or at the very least see that it was edited then that would be a slightly different story.

Hi - it is asking me to purchase upgrade for the 3rd time. I have been using this app for a few years. I think it is because of these Enterprise MDM enrolments that use side loading without telling the end user. I guess Apple thinks we should pay for books, apps, and upgrades every time they sell our account “supervision’ without any transparency to us. I assume that’s where the money is so in the meantime I will have to request (kindly) that you authorise my already-paid upgrade. Thank you. #applebusinessmanager ABM #volumepurchaseprogram VPP
