Fun, but difficult to play
It’s fun, but moving the character around is awkward. I should at least be able to make a full 90° turn without lifting my finger up. For that reason, it’s frustrating to play for along time.

once the free trial ended I had to delete it cause I GOT STUCK IN this stupid room with the ''paywall'' right on front of me I thought I Would love it but that room with the pay wall ruined it all
Overall I feel mixed about it. Maybe it’s a free trial thing, but I noticed several textures or wall arts were very low quality (mainly in the museum). I also noticed the lightning bled through the floorboards in the museum or the projector and other lights clipped at weird angles. You have to use forward or back movement and swipe look, no other options. There were several times I had to walk up to something, turn to the side, inch forward, then turn back to get myself lined up the way I wanted to. I also fell through the floor the first time I went up to the two doors. Overall, does this impact the gameplay? Other than the terrible controls? No. I didn’t buy the full game, I’ve own it on Steam, but overall it came off as being almost a perfect port, but leaking the little bits of polish to really make a 5 star port. Fix up the lighting, give me a joystick with full directional walk control and it’s an easy five star recommendation to anyone. The paywall was hilarious though, downloaded the free trail just to see that. More Kevin is always a win.
In the past of only seen the game on PC, but when I found it on mobile, I of course have to try it out! It is as good as the original on PC, I didn’t expect it to look as good as it was since it was was on mobile! thank you to the creators for making this wonderful experience!
First, let’s address the complaints about the price. There’s a clear section in the iOS app store that shows if there’s a purchase or not. It’s a bit strange to get mad about getting to demo a game before buying it. I mean, full PC games are never going to make it on mobile if people expect everything to be the same price as mobile games. 😮💨 Loved this game on the Mac, and it is the same great game on here. Controls could be a bit better. But I highly recommend playing with a controller anyway. Two things I’d like to be added are iCloud syncing of play between devices, as far as I can tell that isn’t happening, and haptic support for controllers and/or to intuitively turn it off and on on the device if a controller is connected or not. Edit: iCloud Syncing does work after all.
You have to keep sliding your finger to the side of the screen which can get very annoying after a while
The hype is up for a fun free game, but is immediately smashed as you are charged 15 bucks or playing the demo. Make this cheaper or free
Just simply not enough content or replay ability. 2/5
I get that its supposed to be a parable of something but listening to that patronizing voice droning on and on just isn’t fun, you constantly have to stop doing anything so the narrator can catch up with his long-winded explanation of whats happening. I wish there was a skip button.
This is one of the most innovative experiences in modern gaming. The Bucket is beautiful, the bottom of the mind control facility song is stuck in my head. The Adventure Line has more personality than any other character. I would like to ask for the full game to be free or at least have a discount for those who payed for this game on another console. I have been reading other reviews about clunky controls and stuff, if you really care that much about controls just get it on PC and Console. The price for a game of this popularity is a steal.
