Format

Csharkey5 on

I like the format where I could just stroll down and pick the stories I wanted to read

Not happy

Harbor40 on

United States

We had finally gotten a handle on how to read the Saturday edition online and then the Star Ledger changed the format. It is not easy to read now and I cannot print my crossword puzzles like I was able to before the change.

Not a fan

I cannot eliminate the picture of the full front page from the article I’m reading. Tried multiple times to move it. Not successful

New format

I don’t like the new format. No page numbers. Have to scroll through a bunch of legal notices to get to other sections. Liked it better when it read like ordinary newspaper

New online

Val Ilg on

I had no issues using the online paper but now the “improved” version is too touchy at times and then other times it’s difficult to get the pages to turn. Also, why are the headings gone which allowed you to jump to certain sections?

Don’t really need or want the app, but the web version doesn’t work on my iPad. The old version worked just great.

Not fond of this now format.

New Star Ledger App

Paulie210 on

The new Star Ledger app indeed, has some great improvements. However, leave it to the Star Ledger to “improve” something While simultaneously degrading it. For example, if you use the new app on iPad the page no longer fits on the screen, How are you can expand the page with your fingers you can’t contract it to match the size of the iPad screen. Another degradation – for some inexplicable reason they removed the tabs at the top of the pages that let you easily jump to the different sections of the paper.

I use an Ipad for reading on line. Held horizontally I get two pages with font too small for reading. One page would work fine I think. Held vertically is not good either, but bettrr
