The USO

I used to use this app to check in quickly, but it no longer works. It just says checking in, but never actually finishes checking in. Thought it was maybe the location I was trying to check in to, but it was the same for another location as well. Loved the app when it worked.

I’ve checked in to many USOs through the app and skipped the line. For some reason, recently, the check in stopped working.

Spins and spins but won’t check in. USO check-in process is cumbersome in person. App is supposed to be fast and easy. It won’t complete the check in process. If you can’t fix this, recommend pulling the feature completely and letting customers know it’s no longer an option.

The app does exactly what I need it to do. It makes checking in much faster, and I usually skip the line. Being military, we all like that high-speed low-drag kind of thing. I do wish there was some sort of barcode type of system we could use instead, like a boarding pass, that could be added to a Apple wallet. Currently, however, I’m having an issue with the app. When you go to check in, it loads indefinitely. This has happened at multiple airports and my app version is up to date. I’ve tried everything to solve this on my end but I think it’s a bug. It just happens to be that the bug involves the sole purpose of the app not functioning correctly.

It appears to work but when attempting to check in one simply gets a never ending circle. Every USO I have attempted in the last few years reported that everyone has the problem. I am keeping the app just so I can find the location.

I try to use the app to check in every time I come to the USO, but it does not work. I just get a loading circle and the check in process never completes. UPDATE: It’s been over two years since I got this app, and it still does not allow me to check in. Clearly, making it functional is not a priority.

I get why this app wants my PII, to ensure only military can use the app. But I simply don’t want to enter that kind of sensitive info into an app. Can we please go back to just checking IDs at the desk?

The Transition Pathfinder for transitioning veterans is very helpful! They assigned me someone to check on my monthly as I start my journey out of the military, as well as providing me with a checklist on how to get started. So many different pieces of information that I’ve been provided (to include a personality test to figure out the type of job to focus on next)!!

Is anyone going to fix this issue? I read a bunch of reviews and it’s the same for many of us. You’d think they would fix this by now. Developer Let’s do something about this please.
