ThermoPro Sensor FAQ
Is ThermoPro Sensor free?
Yes, ThermoPro Sensor is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is ThermoPro Sensor legit?
🤔 The ThermoPro Sensor app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
This is a great product and the app worked flawlessly until the last two updates. Why? Why would your updates totally ruin this experience? The update before the last one wiped out the six transmitters and left a blank page. The app struggles to find each one now. I have six. Baffling that you would botch this so badly. You know the old saying, well I guess not. But, in the future ‘If it ain’t broke don’t fix it’!!
Saving problem
I have continued to have to search and add three devices over and over again every time I close out the app when I go back in later, all the devices are gone and I need to re-do them
Really bad….
Forced updates or app will not run. Poor coding and design.
Update
Can you folks make the attempt to notify ppl an update is needed vs just shutting down the app when opening it. Seriously how annoying to launch an app just to have it shut down. Run it again b/c you assume it’s the typical mediocre programming you get these days so after 3 attempts to launch you finally get these hint something is wrong and now you have to run the app store and low and behold there’s an update..
Version 2.5.8 and 2.5.9 have been disastrous
The version, v2.5.8 does not “remember” any of the devices already defined when the app exits. While the next version, v2.5.9, initially “fixed” the earlier issue, but will immediately crash after new start after a week of app use.
Seems like the corruption of the persisted device definition after each app exit, is still not fixed. Just wondering how would fixing of these issues be categorized as “minor bugs” in the release notes.
Now has Drag re-order sensor ability
The feature that was requested but not documented, is the ability to drag on a sensor title and move the sensor viewing order.
Worked for a few weeks
I bought 6 units, worked for a few weeks and now they keep going off line. Try another brand.
Frequent crashes with 7+ sensors
ThermoPro app worked fairly well until i hit about 8 temperature / humidity sensors. At 12 sensors it has become a nightmare. App crashes on start up. Or it will start but has forgotten all the sensors. After deleting app / reinstalling app / adding back the sensors -- it starts crashing all over again around 8 sensors. For a while i tried using 2 iPhones with the sensors split between them, but this quickly became unmanageable. IPhone XR.
Battery eater
Horrible battery user
Broken
Never works anymore. Data gets deleted all the time. The sensors that show up go missing. Use to work flawless. Very disappointed in this app the developers need to step up their game.
