Hearing Good Things About ReVamp

Read the site (Dec 5, 2022) and band said anyone who had this should reinstall.. give it try again…give them feedback and communicate with them if problematic! I’m staying tuned! These guys don’t let ppl down and have had a lot on their plates.. this is a brand new message from them within their merch page, go check it out!

I found their Outdated iPhone App & Emailed them and They rectified the Problem so quickly..I now can enjoy their music with this App! I Now Can Give TMBG’s Their Well Deserved 5⭐️’s for The Creative Cassette Tape Look and Functionality. Thanks for the App Fix and The Great Music !!!

Neat concept, but it's just not that great.

The design is incredibly charming and the concept is fun! With more care, this could totally be the next Dial-a-Song. However, the app hasn't been optimized for modern devices, instead getting letterboxed to the screen of an iPhone 5 on my iPhone 12 mini. The audio sounds pretty bad, making it a pretty bad listening experience. Super Cool didn't deserve to debut like this, and overall I think the app really needs a UX overhaul if the band's plan is to release new music like this.

TMBG fan fun that works great!

So - a free app that holds 5 TMBG songs that rotate every day, including rare cuts, demos, and Dial-a-Songs going back to the 80’s? Sign me up! Works as advertised and is a great pick me up playing in the background on your phone.

Whatever they do, it’s worth checking out. App, CD, or foul.

Still Going...

After several brief hiatuses, I’m glad to see the TMBG app is still getting some support. The only major issue I’d like to see addressed, even if it interferes with the particular skeuomorphic whimsy, is to have an indication when new songs are being loaded in.
